Why are French superheroes like this?
Why are French superheroes like this?
Because Captain America triggered them all and they just surrended to the idea of being stupid
You let in one cat girl and things start getting freaky.
and now a proper french hero
Yes
There are some great French superheroines
CaptainZ was fun, can't wait for the next volume
>Le Cowboy
>Howdy, mon ami.
>Not posting the greatest french super hero of all
For shame.
Yes
No
Because of reasons
Can anyone translate the title of this one for those of us who can't speak French?
THE best french super hero
SuperDupont riding his cock, while holding his baguette in his other hand
The cross over when Supes and Reagan needed french help
>les heroes de paris
>instead of héros
>people out there playing with the page in the narrative
>in american capeshit most they do is blank backgrounds
Aside from a few phrases, why aren't they speaking in french?
Read more comics
>can't wait for the next volume
Satan, I...
lmao I missed this
i should read thte rest
Because most american wouldn't be able to read it.
Dear god, It's like the author haven't touched a BD in his whole life. This is so painful to look at.
wow, you critically failed at sounding like you know shit about comics yourself. congrats I guess. the avatarfaggotry was a nice touch.
What I meant is keeping in mind the french comic is one of the biggers and most important comic traditions in the world I was expecting something inspired from french authors, I don't know, a barbarian that resembles Asterix, for instance, these looks just so fucking boring.
By the way, nice timing.
>Avatarfaggoty
What? Why?
Are you joking or do you just mean the little subtitle after the "I"? if the later it's basically laserless.
>these look boring
I'm fairly sure all of them are supposed to be joke copies of other heroes so it's no wonder the designs wouldn't look original.
Because Americans write them.
doubling down on showing off how you don't know whit about what you talk about, it's cute but we got the message.
Yes, they are another Justice league parody, marvel like to do that.
"Les Sisters" is a slice-of-life about two girls in present day France. Occasionally, they're superheroes -- in their imaginations.
But there was a spin-off series (2 volumes so far) where their powers are real. "The Super Sisters". The title of this one is "Private Laser".
The older one is given an atomic laser. The kid sister is too immature to have one, so she steals it. (I think. I can't read French either.) As you'd expect, things go downhill from there.
Still, a parody based on very known french comicbook characters would have been cool.
Because they're written by idiot yanks or britbongs.
IIRC, Superman made a parody of Asterix and Obelix at one point.
Give them the benefit of the doubt and consider Le Cowboy to be Lucky Luke.
Lumière Bleue's description seems to be referencing Belfegor but that doesn't really make sense.
I won't extend that benefit to Détective Fantôme having anything to do with Fantomette or Fantomas.
>le docteur cul
Yeah that's his point though Why make another not!JLA?
what a stupid fucking question
Why is he showing "2"?
>Asterix let's double-team her!
.
It doesn't say anything about stealing it here, she just can't control the laser because it's too strong and the older sister comments that she shouldn't have separated her thumbs while firing. The title is a play on words so it's hard to translate but it's roughly a mix of and
Because this is an edit of the original cover.
Detective Fantome is rad as fuck
it's like the Question meets Ghost Rider, i love it
I'm dissapointed, so many obvious references to make and they didnt go for a single one
Should've at least put a completely average looking teenager in there as a Tintin parody
I was thinking it looked familiar.
Tintin isn't French though.
Because of seething anglo/burgers.
The only way they know of making themselves look good is treating everyone else like unsufferable retards.
Belgians are just French people pretending and some Dutch along the coast
They aren't, those are burgeroids trying to be funny.
this comics has a better ending for Asterix than what we will ever get in the canon
I said I couldn't read French.
But it certainly _looks_ like she's swiping it.
I'd love to see a translation of this page -- and the rest of the issue. :)
Basically that goblin is giving her a choice between a test for "tier 4" (might be their hero tier or something like that, not sure) and a laser bracelet, and he says she's supposed to resist the temptation of the bracelet and go for the test instead. She's obviously tempted but looks like she's going for the test and the goblin praises her for being reasonable, but then she goes for the bracelet instead saying she hates tests.
Meaning this is the reason she can't control it in the next page.
French prefer using the war for better designs
Yes
I want to know more about this Saharan cat civilization.
Thanks. Obviously the goblin/alien doesn't know Marine/Maureen very well.
No prob, I don't get that many chances to use my French so I gotta watch out to not let it "rust"
Cute premise.
>no tentacle proof
I see a glaring flaw in your super power, supersisters
