new update today. or might have been yesterday. i dunno.
Outsider
why does co not like this as much as tg does
page 10 aa
wew, saved it just on the edge
So? Are we gonna let /tg take this comic from us??
come to /tg/ you pleb
NEVER
I never left
Everyone who wants to discuss this comic here already knows that the biggest discussions will be on /tg/. Of course, the /tg/ threads are usually 40% discussing the comic and 60% arguing over something really random. For example, these two strips settled a very lengthy argument about MREs and water temperature from a few threads ago
Yas Forums only cares about the blue elf waifus. You want a discussion then post some sexy art.
This comic contains hand holding
The update rate is too slow for most of the ADHD crowd on co
>blueberry flustered over discussion of her milk
Cute! But also a very believable faux pas when meeting an alien species assuming that they look and function similar to humans, which is basically totally unbelievable from a scientific standpoint.
Why's that? If God made humans on one planet, why wouldn't He on other planets?
Let the record state she didn't say she wouldn't give him milk for his space coffee.
You can't walk on eggshells with every alien interactions.
Besides, I figure they kind of owe him some leeway after that whole "prisoner we can't figure out" phase.
I'm not trying to throw shade on him. I'm actually impressed by how believable that faux pas was; it really does sound like something a person might say without thinking about it, but could be misinterpreted by an alien.
To be fair in this comic, the Loroi were genetically engineered by an advanced ancient race using humans as the blueprint
Huh. That will be convenient for the dirty developments we all hope will happen.
>it took nineteen years to get to the first vaguely lewd strip
according to who?
What, the girls surrounding the naked human strapped to a table didn't work for you?
>hand holding
Wasn't he trained specifically not to put his foot in his mouth like this?
The author has a section of his website/forum called Insider where he divulges worldbuilding details which aren't in the comic yet. (and considering the update rate, might not make it in during our lifetime).
To all the blue aliens. Not even joking. The reason why there are so many blue aliens is that ancient race builds their space empire on the backs of genetically engineered races that they stole from their home planet. The whole Loroi Union is built on these GE races coming together; so far, the other GE races found their parent race at the start. For a long time, the Loroi thought themselves as the only GE that wasn't based off another race, until Alex came along.
>And to clarify: physical contact for a Loroi is essentially a boost for her normal telepathic abilities; it's like having a wireless device than you can plug in to a land line for a huge increase in bandwidth. It's not an "emotional" or empathic link per se; Loroi telepathy operates on a variety of levels simultaneously, conscious and unconscious, emotional and logical. But a better link with more bandwidth does allow for a more complex interaction... kind of like the difference between shouting a message across a river and whispering provocatively in someone's ear.
Jesus, is he still talking to the goddamn elves?
The update is too slow for people with a register able heartbeat.
Have you read the old testament? Why the hell would god want to go through that twice?
As long as the pacing doesn't keep going the way of Paranatural, I am okay with the space elves not having anything akin to a cow on their planet(s).
>assuming that they look and function similar to humans
>which is basically totally unbelievable from a scientific standpoint
So far as I know Convergent Evolution remains a viable scientific theory.
>Have you read the old testament
>Why the hell would god want to go through that twice
Having read the old testament I know questioning God is a quick way to get genocided. Alien brothers in christ are a distinct possibility, deal with it.
That explains a lot.
There was a tangential discussion about gut microbes and antibiotics for this one.
cant wait for him to explain how animal husbandry works to a species that probably did away with it millennia ago
I’m pretty sure God had a good time.
You do not understand convergent evolution.
Now they're arguing about why isn't Jardin a perfect culture hero, capable of spitting out appropriate, fully memorized poetry instead of a goofy mickey mouse jingle. Might just be this one idiot, though.
As a theory that can't be properly tested with current technology I would say yes, you are correct. I don't understand a fucking thing.
he really needs to work on his "blush"
>cant wait for him to explain how animal husbandry works to a species that probably did away with it millennia ago
> it's massively offensive to them
> Jardin wakes up naked on the medical bed in the main ship a second time, but with the telepathic rapists puking on the floor over the idea being put in their head that a sentient species would ingest another non-sentient species lactation
fuck yeah milk
i love being white
it's not a theory, it's something you can see in stuff like octopus and mammal eyes. Same design, different evolutionary path. Octopus eyes are wired in properly, ours got installed by the lowest bidder.
I only check up on it once every few months and it's still not updated.
Asking for your host's breast milk is quite audacious.
Yes, but do note that Beryl complains that she doesn’t have any milk to give, not that she wouldn’t give it to him.
They have stated their willingness to make... accommodations.
And that suspicious "Whose milk then??" question
>God
>He
heresy
Did they just assume God's gender?
It'd be nice if we could actually get to any of that shit. The comic's been going, what? Two decades now? And we're only like 160 pages in? That's Aaron Diaz-tier.
I love the array of reactions on display here.
>amusement at the human trying to eat their food
>shock at the audaciousness of his perceived request
>humiliation at she might be expected to do to accommodate him
>offense at the perceived slight against her
Only just read through it now and it's hilarious how >l-lewd the whole of it is.
They so want to make... 'accommodations'.
Where is the author even going with this, is it going blue or going high SF?
If the last 20 years are any indication, 95% is about creating 3D backdrops and 5% is high danger blue space elf harem.
I hope he got a new computer to make those 3d backdrops with. Even a super cheap budget computer can do proper 3d modeling these days.
Multiverse theory #1 states that in an ever expanding single universe an exact copy of you doing the same things you are doing at this moment is a certainty, that the universe is so vast, particles arranging themselves to form another Sol & Earth with the same history as ours is inevitable. So convergent evolution is not beyond the realm of possibility.
Multiverse theory #2 is the one you are mostly likely familiar with in fiction
wile true that convergent evolution happened here on Earth with things like flight, for the sake of this conversation about human looking aliens, it seems more proper a thing to say then "Funny forehead syndrome"
Dude you don't need a multiverse to explain similar looking critters.
Check out the octopus vs. human eyes, different evolutionary paths for essentially the same mechanism, except their wiring doesn't go *in front* of the sensory array and doesn't have to make a hole through the visual field to get to the brain.
Anyway in this case all the blue aliens are constructed to look like existing races, so there's no need to justify any further.
The question is what does Loroi milk taste like
>what does Loroi milk taste like
like sour patch kids without any sugar
Seeded Universe.
The updates have been somewhat regular since patreon kicked in. Maybe 1 or 2 a month on average. Maybe even 2-3.
Still slow and before that it was the standard for how slow it could get. And hes not even a mental patient the same way the avas demon chick is.
I know, I've been following it since the beginning. Dude does work as a game artist so I guess this is a side project, patreon has allowed him to spend more time on it.
Do you vote for it?
