>uses the exact same style as bobs burgers
wtf, that was one of the few weaknesses of bobs burgers, they should've gone with something else.
Artstyle is a complete turnoff.
BLACKED
Fuck off retards, Sanjay and Craig used the same artstyle and that was great.
I'm sick of musicals.
How feasibly possible is it for someone to actually buy and repurpose Central Park?
>sick of musicals
I haven't seen a musical show since Galavant.
It would be almost impossible. But that might be why she's calling it the biggest real estate deal in the history of the world
do they live in the park?
>still no info on the Bob’s Burgers movie
Eh, whatever. This’ll keep me distracted.
>Sanjay and Craig was great.
Can't tell if sarcasm
>Sanjay and Craig was great
It got better over time.
The first part is technically possible, but since Central Park is designated as a historical landmark, anyone who did manage to pull off the purchase IRL wouldn't be able to repurpose it into anything else.
>Sanjay and Craig was great
I didn't even think it was that bad but nigga, c'mon.
im starting to think some sketchy shit is going on behind the scenes there
>not liking the crude but immensely charming Bob’s Burgers art style
Lol, couldn’t be me. Go jerk off to more stiff MacFarlane-esque shit, why don’tcha
Is there a single non-Netflix streaming cartoon outside Caballeros anyone ever gave a shit about?
Every other one comes and goes with little talk
Oh, Black Louise is the OLDER sister...
>c-charming
Lol. You have nothing. The designs aren't expressive, they don't lend themselves to ease of animation (neither in simplicity for 2D puppeteering nor for traditional animation) and they're not pleasing to look at. Fuck off.
>don't like the style of bobs burgers?
>you must like the style of the even worse family sitcom!
I think the animation on Bob's burgers is great, but the style is just ugly.
Shh-shhhh... This is only the beginning of the streaming wars. Things are slowly ramping up. Stuff like Undone (Amazon) came out at a bad time.
HBO Max already has Looney Tunes Cartoons, Jellystone!, and Close Enough that people are looking forward to. Netflix Animation is gonna have to be fucking solid to keep up the pace.
I’m glad you can admit that the animation on that show is great, but the art style itself is still pretty appealing. The wonky Muppet-inspired faces are pretty fun once you get used to them.
I bet you’re the same type of close-minded guy who complains about Spider-Verse’s frame rate or Connected’s more cartoony proportions.
Unconventional Designs ≠ Ugly Designs. Open your eyes, user.
>thinking Caballeros is a Disney+ show
lmao it's not. Disney dumped that show on Disney+ without even putting it in the "Disney+ Originals" section. They couldn't care less about it. just accept it. as a fellow Caballebro, I feel your pain.
>Caballebro
I like the sound of that.
>Disney couldn’t care less about it
I don’t like the sound of that.
It’s an exclusive in the US and still more talked about then the ones they tried to promote like Clone Wars
But hey, they wanted Ducktales. They don’t have to care for it, we were right in that Disney missed the chance to have a show which would have been successful
at least they let it out from the disney vault.
This. Same goes for Bouchard's previous show, Home Movies
Bob’s Burgers defender here. I can’t speak quite as highly about Home Movie’s designs, but I will admit that like the former, it still has enough charm that you can come to appreciate over time.
I don’t know what it is, but the Home Movies style just has something that makes the show far easier to stomach than Squidbillies or 12 oz. Mouse.
I feel like even if the purchased did go through, the potential backlash of trying to tear the park down would far out weight what little personal benefit they could get from it until that person bankrupt and ends up reselling.
>evil business wants to turn park into more city
Whoever decided this was an interesting conflict needs to be smothered to death with a pillow while they sleep.
>notBob needs to stop notHugo with the help of notLinda, notGene, and notLouise. Also notTeddy is a jolly bum
Disney probably stopped production of it and killed the movie.
This, but swap out NotHugo for NotEdith & NotHarold
Some shots in this trailer with a semi-theatrical quality, looking forward to some nice animation. But can’t help feeling to me that it looks more like a miniseries spin-off of BB than its own thing
Looks like an "adult cartoon" alright. Probably safe as fuck too since it's Apple. Zzzzz.
Cleopatra in Space is supposed to be on some obscure streaming service nobody heard about.
As long as it’s no Milo Murphy’s Law, then I’m absolutely fine with the similar art style. I don’t look forward to all the stupid crossover theories and unintentional Easter eggs that tryhard fans will obsess over, though
>Netflix Animation is gonna have to be fucking solid to keep up the pace.
I mean, it has.
why does white people thinks nigger would watch cartoon? most niggers I know only watch basketball on the 50" tvs that they stole and nothing else
Damn, this looks really cute. Shame it’s on Apple TV+ of all places
Nah, Loren Bouchard confirmed it was still coming out.
>The loli is literally just black Louise
ehhhh
>Ugly ass artstyle
No, bad.
Kek, your loss. The Bob’s Burgers art style is neat, especially once you get past Season 1.
I doubt Disney stopped production, but they most likely aren’t releasing it in theaters anymore. Loren Bouchard continually insists that the movie’s still happening, and all three examples in pic related are relatively recent; I doubt these crew members would boast about having worked on a project that fell through the cracks.
The movie is still on. Just don’t expect it to come July 17th.
Peacock
Lol, couldn’t DreamWorks have just kept it on Netflix? I feel like Peacock should be more reserved for TV shows based on their big movies (Kung Fu Panda, Shrek, Dragons, etc.). Those already have holiday specials that I’m sure will also find their way onto Peacock.
A vulnerable IP like Cleopatra in Space needs Netflix’s safety net to even have a chance at surviving.
seriously
we don't need more shows that look like this, they should have done something different it works for Bob's Burger sure but who the hell wanted this it's going to be cancelled very quickly from lack of engagement
>South Park
>Central Park
Now there needs to be a North Park so the trilogy is complete.
Haha, yes!
If it was possible it would've been done. Central park is a huge thing with new york city, most people would have a huge problem with it.
this looks absolutely fuck awful
>songs in Bobs used to be few and far in between
>always a goofy little treat when one happened
>fast forward 10 seasons and episodes have AT LEAST 1 song per episode
>easily became the worst part of the show
>base an entire series on that
The mouths are weirdly over animated
The same thing kind of happened to Phineas and Ferb, though being from Disney most of those songs were at least OK.
Also we've already seen the dad in underwear in that trailer, what do you think the son will be semi-nude at least once too?
Looks inoffensively fun; the artstyle is just Apple intentionally trying to be "hey, remember Bob's Burgers?"
So I’m guessing Gad plays a sort of Musical Narrator of the series
Your over exaggerating at most they have songs during the credits with maybe a normal music number every couple of episodes
has there ever been a good musical series? not even just animation, has there ever been a good television series that was a musical
But how can you trick people into thinking they're watching Bob's Burgers if you aren't nearly identical to it in every way?
Penis and Verb?
Why are the Bob's Burgers kids wearing blackface?
At least Sanjay and Craig had at least a somewhat different artstyle
It's possible that since Central Park is a landmark, it's prohibited to demolish. Even though a landmark label doesn't guarantee a landmark to be safe from demolition, there are some place in New York City it does with the clause of, "Unless the city is in extreme economic hardship". Central Park may fall into the latter category.
Ugly mutts with a blacked couple?
Pass, not a racist but I just don’t like the agenda
Overalls are top unf.
>queer but no bears
no deal
That is a child, user.
I would much prefer highly competitive streaming networks trying their damnest to provide excellent content than the cookie cutter samey shit you get on prime time these days.
I think since the MC of Home Movies is a kid, it works on the level of seeing the world through a childish point of view.
Not to mention, when content is decided by the subscribers rather than advertisers, it allows considerably more freedom.
Thats a drawing. A sexy drawing.
Sonic Underground
How is that an agenda? I don't think it's unusual to have two people from different races in an urban diverse city sex it up and have a family together.
HA HA HA
YES
>comments are turned off
More mutts than a kennel.
>when content is decided by the subscribers
Too bad there's no actual way to do that with any existing service. If they put up a poll with a list of shows and said "One of these has to go on the chopping block. Vote to protect your favorite.", then that would be interesting. Instead things are decided by license holders and """analytics."""
She's a filthy mutt.
Sure, but you don't need everything to fit into the narrow band of allowed by the Fed and advertisers. You can have nudity and sex right next to a light hearted adventure cartoon. Its up the service to make the decisions but honestly, using twitter and the like to judge popularity is probably not any weirder than nielson ratings.
Is the fat narrator not one? Does a bear have to also be visibly hairy to count?
