It's okay. Not amazing but certainly better than peas.
No I won't put cheese on it. Cheese is shit.
I did as a kid. I still fuckin hate it
I refuse to eat it even in stir fry
The trope BECAME realistic by constantly playing it on tv. Classic self-fulfilling prophecy.
I hated it. Think it might've just been because of my mom's cooking though. I remember when my friend ate dinner at my place he had a piece and couldn't even being himself to swallow.
I love broccoli. Especially dipped in ketchup.
As well they should. It smells like that for a reason. It’s a warning from nature.
>Skip School
>Everyone at school has a fun party time.
No school is gonna do some event without informing the students before hand.
>Think it might've just been because of my mom's cooking though
This. A lot of people just stick veggies in the microwave without even adding salt or pepper. Of course it's going to taste like shit if you don't cook it right.
>Children go on a dangerous fantasy style quest
>They all come back alive
>dipped in ketchup
I know it's a meme to tell you to stfu but that's genuinely disgusting
It really is, apparently
prevents kids to get poisoned by eating weird plants, because they taste terribly bitter
i've never seen any of those high school cliques in my entire time going to school
>Other guy cheats during a test.
>MC acts like it is a huge deal.
Oh, Boco.

Wow, the answers in this thread really justify the high rates of obesity and heart disease increases we’ve seen.
I was weird as a kid. I wouldn't eat vegetables unless they were boiled or grilled.
>Empires bad
>Kingdoms good
>I was a weird kid
>says thing average kids do
Not that unrealistic. It's on the lower end of vegetables, along with brussels sprouts.
Was that a thing? I've never met anyone else who said they wouldn't eat an entire food group unless they were hot.
Yeah i don't know what's up with that, i love broccoli. It's the simplest fucking thing to make good too, throw it in a bowl full of water, let it boil for a while and then add salt.
I loved it as a kid, too. In fact, it was the only vegetable i ate other than the eventual cauliflower.
What’s wrong with cheating on a test?
>then add salt
Aren't you forgetting a couple of things?
Nobody adds salt because they think it would make it unhealthy. Yet those same people are usually fine with eating hot pockets or crap like that.
Where do they even sell Hot Pockets, I can’t find any neat me
..no?
you clean it and shit, divide, boil it, and then add salt. Salt isn't going to kill you unless you put enough of it to raze carthage two times over.
I'm guessing you're not from America. Almost every grocery store you can name has them in stock over here.
Peas are great, fuck you
There are two kinds of people in this world: People who hate broccoli and lying contrarians.
Olive oil and lemon, you mong. Maybe pepper or some actual peppers. Some add onions. I've eaten it with salmon and/or tuna. Who eats it just with salt?
If I’m a lying contrarian, wouldn’t I tell the truth?
I used to hate broccoli.
Then I had it in some really good chinese and ever since then I don't mind it so much.
Of course I'm lazy and get it frozen and just toss it in the microwave and throw salt on it.
Not if every other lying contrarian told the truth.
remember that episode of danny phantom were Danny cheats on his test, which results in his family getting killed, then he becomes evil and kills everyone? That's what happens when you cheat boy
>Would never drink milk as a kid
>Not even as infant
>Parents had to buy special formula that had different taste and texture entirely
>Would only have milk with cereal or cookies
>Even instant oatmeal had to be made with water, not milk
>Loved cheese though
>I'd actually pour it together with salsa, olives, and a chopped up banana as a snack during my latchkey days
>not drowning your broccoli in cheese
I do. I mean, it's not alone, but the broccoli is supposed to be an entry. You know, first ya eat the vegetables, then you go to the main part of your lunch/dinner.
>doesn’t like cheese in their broccoli
At least the Venture Bros. was brutally honest about that one.
>PE scene
>shirts and skins
>fat ones are always the skins and are embarrassed
>Better than peas
fuck you faggot
>No I won't put cheese on it
I take it back you're based as fuck
>MC constantly refers to themselves as unpopular
>Always has the largest friend group in the show
>"Popular kids" are a tiny clique that's mean to everyone
>Jocks are dumb stupid bullies
>losers are smart
literally the opposite at my school
Sure, but even when I eat it alone or with meat, I always add olive oil & lemon at the very least. Otherwise it's tasteless.
In Japan they turned the broccoli into bell pepper slices for Inside Out.
>Haggis is disgusting
There's worse stuff in mutt hot dogs.
How can one post be so wrong
interesting, I wonder why.
Just different cultural stereotypes of foods kids don't like.
the fuck's wrong with peas?
I thought I hated broccoli as a kid. Turned out I just hated how it was cooked and served to me as a kid, no longer a problem now that I cook my own food.
Haggis is delicious and Burns supper is one of the best meals in the world. Especially with cranachan for dessert.
Everything is so simple yet works so well together.
At my school the bullies were absolute meatheads that literally only cared about PE and playing soccer, so there's some truth to that trope.
Green bell peppers are a trash veg, broccoli wears its crown like a fucking king
>Hating on based cheese
They also changed jelly donuts into rice balls for pokemon.
Spinach is prime vegetable but only gets love from popeye
Had a spinach and chicken pizza once, it was amazing.
Based, cheese ruins broccoli
Because green bell peppers are disgusting
Children perceive bitter more intensely than adults. Both are moderately bitter, especially undercooked or raw. Apparently you don't grow into it fully until around 23, but there's also a gene that that may prevent enjoying it entirely. And there's a correlation between a taste for bitterness and being a bitter individual.
It's why kids don't like most beers, probably a holdover from highly alkaline or otherwise poisonous plants.
Stealth Yas Forums/ck/ thread?
I'll do you one better.
I've never seen college campuses dominated by fraternity houses.
Maybe that's some kind of weird New England thing.
Spinach salad is so fucking great.
>certainly better than peas
EAT YOUR PEAS, user!
UVA is surrounded by them on the old campus. Just blocks of frat bros hanging out the window of a 200 year old building next to a museum next to a campus that looks like Thomas Jefferson's brick shithouse.
Fuck you and everyone like you.
It's an evolutionary trait because bitter often meant poisonous. Women are also more prone to the sensations of bitter tasting foods than men due to their role in picking out backup meals if there was no successful hunt.
Apparently this protective trait stopped giving a fuck around a human's mid twenties for some reason. I haven't read into why something designed to protect you from eating something that could make you sick suddenly decides "I'm done, eat what you want, faggot."
>Literally any form of government aside from democracy = bad
>cartoon has animal characters
>herbivores are all intelligent, predators are dumb
It's funny because it's not even the real, actual Democracy of Ancient Greece.
