How would you change Mabel's line of dialogue so she doesn't sound like a selfish cunt

Considering she never suffered the consequences of her actions she'll continue the way she is, even if less "wacky"

Maybe make Dipper more selfish too in that he expects her to come along with them even though she's not interested (vs. Mabel not wanting Dipper to do it at all), so that both are kind of in the wrong. End result being that even though both remain close and on each other's side etc., they also realize that growing up may involve each taking different paths and that's okay.

Is it a problem that she’s selfish here? That’s just part of her personality and a reasonable way to forge conflict.

Considering all the shit that was going wrong for her in the lead up to that moment, and her general fear of things ending, it makes sense she’d be more selfish than usual, especially when it comes to the person closest to her agreeing to leave her behind without even discussing it with her.

Plenty of characters in the show had "bad days" but only mabel caused the Apocalypse. Her refusal to let people do stuff she doesn't want them to do is what makes her selfish. Hell, even if It wasn't Bill and her plan had worked, she'd have purposefully stuck everyone in an eternal timeloop Just because she wanted more Summer and was willing to fuck over everyone to get it.

There's nothing wrong with that line of dialogue, it's only natural that she'd be upset and lash out in the moment, she is only a kid after all.
The problem is that the entire show ends up framing the situation as if she was right to have this outburst, as if Dipper is the one who ultimately wrong for wanting to go with Ford.

That's the problem with Mabel's character generally, she acts badly but the show never wants to admit that that's what's happening, she is almost always framed as being in the right no matter how outrageously she acts.

Was this whole show just a way for the creator to self insert into Dipper and enact his cuck fantasies?

People tend to ignore the intention/probable outcome to focus on defending her that she didn't know she'd cause the apocalypse but that was only 50% of the problem. The other 50% is that she willingly knew people's lives would be halted just so she could run around and be retarded. It wasn't some low-stakes thing like "my friends have things they don't want to do and im 12 so my limited understanding of how life works will make me want to help them keep having fun", it was the entire town and everyone's lives would be stuck in it. She was also aware there were people wanting to do things (Dipper) that required time to move forward so you obviously can't pretend she thought everyone would be fine with it.

Next time just type half instead of 50%.

Feels like female characters in general where the best you can get is them achieving what they want or making the guy feel bad, him apologizing, and then she says sorry. She said he could go with Ford if he wanted to but she already had an autistic shitfit and made him put off by it by thinking about the negatives and how she'd be sad and that they always need to be together forever always. She has zero fucking interest in what he does and is usually only there as comic relief support (who isn't always the most loyal) so I don't expect him to find a good career opportunity with her tagging along.
