While I can't get the weird furry shit in the OP, the idea of a character that has hypno eyes that they can't turn off, or that might go out of control when they get emotional is interesting. Like if you could put the character in a place where things are going right for them and people are being nice to them, and they can't tell if it's genuine or if they accidentally used their powers without realizing it, that could be an interesting conflict.

I don't know why mind control of all things is considered an evil power but like, being strong enough to punch someone in half and shooting fire balls are good to neutral.

I’ll look into that, although she’s more of a cynical snarker with a short temper Thanks, I might use that. Her eyes have a tendency to flare up when she gets angry, which is often, and she often worried that she’ll tell someone to hurt themselves while in a rage without realizing that she gave an order
Another side effect of the power is that she’s nearsighted to the point of being almost blind without her glasses, and her eyes tend to instinctively flare when she’s not wearing them
I actually have a pretty cool scene planned out where she uses her power to dull the pain of another character while she removes a few bullets from their chest
The problem isn’t that she uses her powers badly, the problem is that, powers are based on a person’s personally in this universe, with her gaining the ability to control others, because she felt like her life was out of her control, due to some serious bullying that are faced when she was younger
The problem is that in the past, some rather unsavory individuals have held the same abilities as herself, with several of those individuals still being alive

I've always been curious about the long term effects of mind control. Like, let's say a villain mind controls a hero, but instead of it eventually breaking, it sticks, and the hero stays their pawn for months, years, forever, etc. What goes on in the day to day for that character? Are they basically a mindless drone? Is it like living in a dream? Do they have a personality? Does a personality develop rooted in the changes brought by the mind control?

I always get mad when one of two things happen.
1. fans accidental make something way better based off source martial(this snake pacifica with the accidental hypno eyes.)
2.The creators make something way better towards the end of the show than the beginning, but too late to actually do anything with (Spinal is far better than anything that has ever happened in SU.)

Instead of doing something unbelievably trite like the standard, 'oh, woe is me, does this power mean I'm a bad person?'/'surely only a bad person would get an evil power'/'does my evil power mean that I HAVE to be a villain?' melodrama that has been written time and time again, you should make it so that she wholeheartedly embraces herself in spite of what anyone says about it.

This shouldn't be an issue. If the powers are based on your personality, then it's always YOU that the powers represent, and you can use them in the way that you want regardless of what they appear to be. She can choose to try to help people, even if her powers seem creepy at first blush.

Show that it's hard to be a good guy when everyone's judging you, but fuck them, it's a cool superpower and it's going to be used to do good things, dammit.

I'm just so tired of people doing this bizarre causal attribution trying to fucking shove off the responsibility for their choices onto unrelated events around them. Bad guys have similar powers? My dad was a villain? Who fucking cares! They're not you. They'll never be you. So YOU get to choose how to use your fucking cool shadow swords/mind control bit. Almost any character who meditates probably dabbles in self hypnosis on some level, given how closely linked the two are.

That said, Kamala always struck me as the type to have SOME sort of super power based kink, with hypnosis fitting her the best.
