Aside from Ash he's the only other guest character I want in future kombat passes. I'm so tired of half the DLC being guest characters especially when there are so many major MK characters not in the game.

The only major MK characters are from 1-3.

Also maybe Witchblade but this is current day Netherrealm so even if they put her in she won't be in the half naked outfit she's known for.

Yeah I'm still salty that the comic wasted Reiko and Havik and I wouldn't mind seeing more stuff with Chaos and Orderrealm. I also really liked Shujinko and wouldn't mind them just making him the generic "Old Wise Kung Fu Master", I mean he fits it better than Bo Rai Cho does. Nitara had kind of a dumb design but I'm all for blood magic vampires. I feel like Skarlet would have been better as Nitara than Skarlet.

To make room for new characters they'd rather push.

Fact of the matter is, bonus characters aren't taking up space that would have been other characters, they chose the MK characters they wanted to use, bonus characters are just that...a bonus, they basically exist as a promotional tool to get people who don't care about MK interested in the game, they'd be tacked on even if the actual character selection was different.

Nothing works well in Mortal Kombat.

Any character with occult, action movie cliche, or science fiction theme who is R rated/used to blood splatter fits in fine in MK

You zoomers don't even realize literally everything in MK was a rip off from some other piece of media, colorful ninjas were ripped directly from old school kung fu while Scorpion is literally Ghost Rider, cyber ninjas were just the Predator, Kano was "what if we took that shot from Terminator and made it a guy" Raiden was just those electricity sorcerers from Big Trouble in Little China, etc. If you're not over the age of 30, you don't get what the MK appeal was, which was just that it was a bunch of pop culture action movie cliches smashed together distastefully. People who grew up on Deception and Armageddon don't get it and view it like they do their epic animes or something.

Geras literally cannot die, he just respawns every time he gets fatalitied, it doesn't stop him from being fatalitied

What if Capcom allowed for a guest character in MK, as long as it made sense for a character who can kill and be killed, kinda like DC/WB allowed them to use Joker but wouldn't allow Superman. That would Vega, right?
