Why would they make a show about stargirl

Why would they make a show about stargirl

because the weeknd's too expensive

Johns wanted to sleep with an actress playing his sister

Why not? It might go-
>CW
Oh, well.

Why indeed.

It's a DCU show with a DCU budget that is airing on CW the day after it airs on DCU. That's a big plus for me.
Because if they're going to make superhero comics into teen soap operas they might as well actually use teenage characters.

>It's a DCU show with a DCU budget that is airing on CW the day after it airs on DCU.
So, no endless circle of LIES creating DRAMA followed by "Now we are going to tell each other everything"?

Why are they making a star girl series. she always seems like a character pushed out side of comics but not one they do a lot inside of comics.

To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if that makes its way in anyway. I think Titans and Doom Patrol both had a bit of unnecessary secret drama. But from what Johns has said about the show, it's a much brighter show and revolves a lot around Stargirl's relationship with her step-dad.
It is a weird choice but based on the extensive supporting cast of JSA characters it could just be Johns' way of getting a JSA show.

The Cereal Lord wills it

So that we have something that's easier to masturbate to than Batwoman or Supergirl.

Want a show aimed to a female demographic as it'll be hitting the CW. Virtually every other notable female hero is off limits due to movie stuff (Wonder Woman) or already in the Arrowverse

Yeah, why don't they make more shows about Batman characters, or other Justice League members? I hate characters that aren't incredibly mainstream and done to death.

Johns pushing his shitty characters that no one actually likes

literally all their shows are aimed at a female demographic, on all the ensemble shows they keep writing off the male characters and putting more girls on the team, and everyone knows how huge of a plot tumor Felishitty became on Arrow.

>CW
its already shit, when I first heard of this, I was hoping for a nice series, until that fucking CW showed up.

its done by cw, user the show is fucked in the beginning.

Can't see much, but she looks like some chubby uggo with no boobs.

...please don't tell me she's like 13. I hear CW and assume everyone's an adult.

Desperate fags watch their DC comic series. It's kinda sad.

What? It isn't being made by the CW. It's being made by DCU. It's just going to air on CW after because no one buys DCU.
I like Stargirl.
Brec Bassinger has a pretty rockin bod tho

If it was being made by DCU, it would probally be better without a doubt, and I with DCU would make stargirl, It would be nice to watch.+

looks fine to me

It IS being made by DCU. It is NOT being made by CW. Your wish is granted. It has a far higher budget than CW shows.

Thank god, lets hope it is not overbearing political and more like Netflix Daredevil in style of writing

Well it's still being written by Johns so maybe not set the bar too high kek

Goddamnit, Im fucking crying, fuck Live action super heros shows, Im only watching batmant he brave and the bold

Turning 21 this year but she does have a baby face

Good lord those hips

Because Courtney a cute.

hnnnng

I was skeptical at first, but now...

Cute MCs are popular again. And DC has gotten so unpopular it can now avoid most SJW fringe groups

>Why would they make a show about stargirl

And why would they make her #$%@ 20 years old? They did the same crap with Tomorrow People and totally undermined what the show was supposed to be about.

>Turning 21 this year but she does have a baby face

That isn't a baby face, it is just what 20-year-olds look like. Dawson's casting has distorted things to the point that actual teenagers usually can't play teens.

I wonder if they'll mention that she has the Cosmic Converter Belt.

At least not in season 1.

Not a fan of her JLA design, Stargirl without visible belly isn't Stargirl.

>And why would they make her #$%@ 20 years old?
She's in high school in the show so maybe stop being fucking retarded

>She is known for her lead role as Bella Dawson on the Nickelodeon series Bella and the Bulldogs
uh oh

I wonder if we’ll get a new solo series to help promote the show

I mean some of the Nickelodeon children actors are actually decent

That or at least a JSA book would be cool. Has she appeared in anything since Trinity War and the JLA book ended?

I think just Doomsday Clock

The network is going after the non-existant female and queer audience over people who want fun basic scifantasy geekery.

Pretty sure she was in Snyder's JL run where she teamed up with the other Starmen.

>It is a weird choice but based on the extensive supporting cast of JSA characters it could just be Johns' way of getting a JSA show.

Nah....this is always about his sisfu

I'll give it a shot

Have you never read Stargirl? It’s a fun Sci-fi series about a valley girl and her step dad being superheroes

Why not both?

Shes pure. Leave her the fuck alone.

If this thread has taught me anything it's that there is no shortage of anons who will gladly invent a reason to be outraged even when evidence to the contrary is right in their face.

>hot 20 year old actress with a Chad WASP boyfriend
>pure
user, I...

Will Jack Knight appear?

Probably not, this season at least. There was no casting announcement concerning him

I wonder who they cast as Jay or Alan

Its true this majority of this board has never read a comic or only new stuff in the last couple years.

>Cute lead female
>Intended for the female audience
It is clearly made for men user. More specifically, incels that read comics. DC has really been embracing it's audience with their recent shows

Really should have done a Starman series first, and then spin-off with Stargirl.

They could always do a prequel series.
