There is something that came up while we were editing the Yas Forumsle story that I'd like to get more input on.
I don't think humans and demons should have the same thought process. They're both smart enough (usually) to recognize this an push beyond any miscommunications, but I still feel there should be something to differentiate them aside from appearance and magical affinity.
So to help with that, what's the demonic hierarchy of needs? Have demons moved into a post-scarcity society in the realms that the kings control?

Slow sunday. Here's an idea for a "What If" issue: Cape zombies. No explanation, everyone with a meta gene started turning. Flying heroes falling from the sky, their twisted bodies rising to chase the living. Civilians getting eaten. Heroes saving civilians from zombie villains, just to turn and eat the civilians. Carver Medical tries to use the Idunnine on one of the zombies, it goes south, the zombie's powers evolve and completely obliterate the lab. The zombies cannot be reason with, but they are able to strategize, this one understands what Idunnine did to him and starts to distribute it. Not everyone turns at the same time, but if you have the meta gene you WILL turn, getting bitten will only accelerate the process. Who lives? Who dies?

He had skin that looked like someone rubbed green wax on it. He was wearin’ what looked like an unholy cross between a leotard and a gimp suit. He was also wearing what looked like makeup. Guess what I did next.”

Then he told me I should just be beautiful for once in my life. While he was saying this, he was fucking groping me”

He tried to talk to me, but I wasn’t having that shit.”
