It would explain some of the mental gymnastics I see in some posts. When someone thinks everything in a show is good and 'you just don't get it lol' it gives me the impression that they've watched or been involved with it so much that they can't understand an outsider's grievances and they see what they want to see. Like I don't mind being told I'm wrong, 'i get where you're coming from but...', or someone liking a show I don't like while acknowledging its not perfect (because literally nothing is) but some people on this site are really desperate, spammy, and cancerous.
