We were having a discussion in the most recent TOHtanic thread, where Hirsch seems to have his own brand of very meta and audience-commentating humor that he insists upon characters he plays, even while in other cartoons where it doesn't exactly fit. The goblin guy was a pretty good example of this and an important moment in the development of Starco was completely wasted so that Hirsch could le troll the audience.

Let's make it clear that the Main and the Deuteragonist are not going to be a couple, make specifically that the love the guy has for some other girl is officially true love. Bring the curse to make it clear as well that it's forcing them together. Add a great villain and make the dumb villain fail to then become better.

Change the deuteragonist, make him act so bad his girl has to break with him, force a kiss with this moronic friend the author has. He had made other show right? People will surely like it!

What the actual fuck?! Seriously this is the shortest version because per season we could add tons more of shit that went from ok to terrible wrong. You can't ruin a show this bad by accident, so someone in there really wanted it to turn into crap
