>Foster's Home
Good
>Camp Lazlo
Ok
>Squirrel Boy
Meh
>Gym Partner's
Ok
Haven't seen the other 3 in like a decade so I don't really have an opinion on those
All of these are zoomershit and started the dark ages of CN, imagine going from quality shows like Dexter's Lab, Powerpuff Girls and Courage to shit like Squirrel Boy, Puffy AmiYumi and My Gym Partner is a Monkey.
>Dexter's Lab, Powerpuff Girls and Courage
>good
>Megas
Liked it a fair bit
>Juniper Lee
Only seen an episode or two
>Ben 10
Liked it a lot
>Fosters
Decent overall
>Camp Lazlo
Haven't really watched an episode
>SB

They're all awful. The last Cartoon Network show that was any good was Duck Dodgers. Only autists watch ugly cartoons about real kids acting like real kids.
>Duck Dodgers
kys, zoomer
the last good cartoon was made in 1949
Kill yourself retarded zoomer.
You know what, I'm ok with this, actually. If only that were your real opinion and you weren't just some larking autist offended because your shitty zoomer cartoons for mentally disabled children are all terrible.
I mean it
Cartoons reached their peak in the 1940s, and only kept getting worse since
Cartoons since then have never been truly good, just greater and lesser degrees of shit
>Cartoons reached their peak in the 1940s, and only kept getting worse since
I can't argue with this.
I love Ben 10!
>Megas XLR
Great
>Ben 10
It's ok
>Foster's home
It's ok
The rest are trash.
Try harder.
While this is true, I do still like the ones from my childhood like Ninja Turtles and Ghostbusters. They're complete shit in every conceivable way, but that's nostalgia for you.
>a bunch of barely animated cardboard cut-outs
badly animated toy commercials
outsourced too
Calling them badly animated is being too nice.
just kys already
All cartoons made for television are badly animated and only exist to sell products. The only "good" ones are the ones you watched as a child.
>zoomer shil
Hey, don't put down commercials. The commercials are more entertaining than the shows most of the time!
Which is why they should have never been made for TV to begin with
Quality over quantity
>shilling dead cartoons
so you're a retard on top of being a retard
>the sheer state of the animation industry
I'm shilling GOOD cartoons
not my fault yo all degenerates with garbage taste
>Cartoons reached their peak in the 1940s, and only kept getting worse since
Cartoons were always mostly bad, even back then. For every WB and Disney cartoon there was a Terrytoons or even literally whos like Lantz.
>I'm shilling GOOD cartoons
Such as?
Well, TV only exists to sell you things. So those badly animated commercials are doing their job getting kids to convince their parents to buy them shitty toys.
Class of 3000 and Megas XLR were too good for this world.
Looney Tunes, Tom & Jerry, Donald Duck, Popeye, Fleischer's Superman
just to name a few
The quality of the animation is better. The content is mostly the same.
>The quality of the animation is better
That's the point
>Megas
Fantastic
>Juniper Lee
Okay
>Ben 10
Great
>Fosters
Good
>Camp Lazlo
Okay
>Squirrel Boy
Trash
>Puffy
Mediocre
>Gym Partner
Mediocre
>3000
Okay
Not him, but the real difference between cartoons now and then is that back then they were made with a general audience in mind. They were made to entertain and make adults laugh. But not by pandering to "adults" with dick jokes and referential/topical humor. Most of the cartoons now are made for children and only for children. Even the "adult" cartoons are mostly made with the college aged kids in mind.
Fair enough, but late 90's cartoons weren't really that bad. It's not nostalgia speaking, I'm just being honest.
that's the real irony of Adult Swim. By the time you're 30, you're already way too old for the content on that channel.
I'm glad Stuart Snyder cancelled most of these when he became CEO, they are dogshit.
baseddd
This is the era when Cartoon Network Studios starts making shows, since all of the 90s, early 2000s shows that put the channel in the map were made by other studios ( Hanna Barbera, Stretch Films, a.k.a Cartoon, etc ) Unsuprisingly, things start to go downhill, except for that one thing they had a fluke with Adventure Time, mostly because of Frederator's help.
Marked by a massive dip in quality, and I do mean massive. All but two of the shows in your image there are forgettable garbage. CN thought they could just keep doing what they had been by randomly greenlighting shit, it worked for Dexter and Powerpuff and others, so why not do it forever? This shit is why. Quality control is important if you stop caring about who you're giving shows to. Who the fuck thought My Gym Partner's a Monkey was going to be good? Who the fuck thought anyone would even be willing sit down and watch it?
Better than Nickelodeon at the time
>Danny Phantom
>Avatar
>The X's
>Catscrath
>Mr.Meaty
>El Tigre
Only Avatar and the frst two seasons of DP are good.
How come Chowder and Flapjack are of much higher quality compared to these despite coming out in the CN Real era?
>Megas
Fucking great
>Juniper Lee
OK
>Ben 10
Decent
>Fosters
Hit or miss
>Camp Lazlo
Meh
>Squirrel Boy
Shit
>Puffy Ami Yumi
Meh
>My Gym Partner's a Monkey
Shit first half, OK second half
>Class of 3000
OK
The talent attached to them. Start from a strong foundation and be connected enough to poach talent you want and it comes out better.
Foster's Home was my SHIT as a kid
Juniper Lee is actually my favorite out of all these. Shame the show's pacing was SLOOOOOOOOOW. It wasn't until season 3 where semblances of an arc was gonna happen...and then it got cancelled.
>Ben 10
based
Cartoon Network Studios was at its best during the late 2000s, early 2010s ( Chowder, Flapjack, Adventure Time, Regular Show and their last good show before they stopped giving a fuck, OTGW )
Ironic how all of these great shows happened because of Stuart Snyder, the man who pushed CN Real and live-action shit.
>MEGAS
pretty good
>jumiper lee
I remember enjoying it, but I haven't seen it since it stopped airing
>ben10
also pretty good
>fosters
its aight
>camp lazo
it had some pretty good moments
>squirrel boy
all I remember it being is ugly
>puffyami
weird how the music duo behind the teen titans theme song got a western cartoon of all things, and thats all I remember about
>MGPAM
I liked the platformer flash games
>class of 3k
it was neat
I’m suprised Chowder and Robotboy aren’t there.
>Not liking El Tigre
>Chowder
Exac..
>and Robotboy
Only euroes remembers that
Chowder is from the Nood Era, all those in the pic are from the CN City era.
Boomers deserve death, imagine thinking fucking Huckleberry Hound is better than Ed Edd n Eddy.
Alle of Them Are Animated Atrocity.
Is Squirrel Boy by the same guy who made Duckman?
Snyder may have pushed CN Real, but he still allowed the animated shows to push some boundaries in their content. Which is more that can be said about Miller. Clone Wars 2008 was also aired during the Snider era.
What went wrong?
Pic related reminds me of a time where I read a Toonzone thread where a bunch of boomers threw an autistic shitfit over a collection of old cartoons being replaced by Ed, Edd, n Eddy.
The writing was a mixed bad, but at least they had more variety in design than current shows.
Do people still post on Toonzone or whatever it’s called now?
All that just shows me is that history always repeats, especially itself on the internet.
