Concentrating budget into the last 2 episodes and s3 mostly being a bridge into s4 rather than resolving its own plotlines. Not series-ending, but like many middle-saga parts, has a tough time standing on its own. It's why Peter Jackson was pulling his hair out over editing Two Towers, where do you find a place to stop? I feel like they ended it on a unitary tone, where all the characters are in similar mental states, ie: up shit creek.

I wouldn't be surprised if they make Hector and Lenore grow closer despite each other in the coming season, and have her take the place of his romantic interest in the game, where he's forced to fight Issac to protect her.

Despite having every reason to want to let her go, he's still a decent man at heart despite losing his way. That may well reflect on her too. If i was willing to be more daring with the source material, I'd say him and issac fight to a draw, with issac somehow falling into the hands of the dracula cultists, and hector ultimately being turned by Lenore to save his life.

Camilla angle ends with Hector and Lenore ruling over her lands, with hector being colder due to his new nature and experiences, and lenore perhaps a touch warmer, and appreciative of someone who understands the diplomatic approach to dealings with humans.

she's got more under the hood then camilla does, after still going through with trying to get Hector something out of their arrangement despite tricking him.

She certainly enjoys demeaning him though, but that may have just been so the presentation of the rings played out very differently.

Chances of her genuinely starting to like him in a future season are high though, Hector needs some kind of reason to get his balls back and being the unlikely defender of someone like her would be a good thing to drive him to action, while further enraging issac since he's willing to defend this vampire, but not dracula.

She sees him the same way a human sees their pet dog, too stupid to know what is best for them and has to be tricked or trained to be manageable.
All the comments about him being cute and the "real people are talking" thing come more across as her seeming to think of him like she saw the broken legged spider.

entirely possible, also possible she'll come around to him, not unlike dracula did with his wife. We'll have to see what future seasons bring for their dynamic.

That may well have been mostly for show for her sisters, while she did demean him a it in their talk afterward, she seemed to mean what she said when he got what he wanted.

Perhaps this'll spark some introspection for hector and invoke some changes in him that reflect on her opinion of him when issac comes looking for blood

The only time there was actually good action in this season was the the 2nd half of episode 9 and the last episode. And that was what they kept on advertising. You'd think they'd at least sprinkle some good shit here and there. But nope.

Regardless. Goddamn Lenore was hot. I can't blame Hector, but it should have been obvious to him that that would happen. He should have at least gotten a dick sucking first before actually getting enslaved.
