How in the FUCK was the grand reveal NOT that Iduna was waiting for Elsa in Ahtohallan, whether it was as a normal person or a spirit-type-being elevated to another plane of existence? Literally the entire movie builds towards it.

It was just an old memory of Iduna singing All Is Found from when they were younger. If that was supposed to be a "Mufasa in the clouds" thing and she was actually capable of speaking to Elsa, she's pretty fucking shitty for saying absolutely nothing to her daughter except an old lullaby. This is legit better than what the movie gave us. Ahtohallan was oddly absent of Anna, aside from the Hans joke. If they really wanted to set up the whole bridge thing, then Elsa should've gone through several memories involving Anna and realize she's been wrong to push her away, she needs her, etc.

The bizarre thing about Frozen II is that it's actually a really good (or at least decent) Frozen III. There needed to be an entirely different movie between this and Frozen I, one where Anna and Elsa work together to save Arendelle/the world/whatever from a villain (or villains) with magic powers/a magic army/a pet dragon/whatever. Uncovering secrets of the past, Elsa learning the origins of her powers, and the sisters going their separate ways is very clearly "end of the trilogy/series" stuff. For the life of me I cannot wrap my head around why they used all that for the second movie.

So is it me, or does it make no sense that Kristoff didn't go after Anna and Elsa IMMEDIATELY? Sure, they had a head start on him, but they're wandering around aimlessly on foot and he's got a rather fast reindeer he can ride. Couldn't he have had Sven sniff them out or something? Yelana just tells him "they left" and then he's all "Well, I'll never see them again!" and doesn't try finding them AT ALL.
