Now that the dust had settled... Who was in the wrong?

Cass

the fucking sun for disturbing everyones shit with its bullshit magic

Gothel, and the Mouse:
>Gothel fucked the characters which paved the way for "muh issues and shit" excuse to write the show badly.
>The Mouse for being a cheapskate and cutting funds for the show and deliberately rushing the production.

this

Cass, as so often happens

I can't blame the Gothel twist itself because I think the premiere showed that it didn't have to be retarded. The cottage scene with the reprise of waiting in the wings was heartbreaking. Crossing the line mentioned muh mom, but sparingly. My reading of the situation was that seeing her mother abandon her was just the final straw that pushed her over the edge, rather than her whole reason for being.

All this could've been prevented with just one pity sex from Raps, tsk tsk.

The event in the Great Tree is the main reason how Cass was mentally destroyed

>All this could've been prevented with just one pity sex from Raps, tsk tsk.
>Implying that Raps gives pity fucks.

Raps ain't just gonna pity fuck her, she'll fuck Cass with love and care and passion either as a friend or a Bi-lover.

Rapunzel. What the fuck who puts pineapple on a pizza. Sick little shit

Agreed. That was when we really saw the negative side of Rapunzel's omnibenevolence. She was willing to trust and rely on Adira, a near stranger, above Cass, who'd been by her side from the beginning. Which rightly made her feel taken for granted. I think S3 having Cass be so retarded has made people forget that she was right, at least back then. Raps basically has Williams syndrome. She has blind faith in people she has no reason to trust. And given Cass' emotional dependence on Rapunzel, seeing how easily she could be replaced - essentially by anyone - must have been traumatic. It proved to her that all her loyalty and devotion really meant very little. I think as early as the freebird episode we see Cass struggling with fears of abandonment, and of losing authority and control, but she bottles it up and does her duty, right up to the point she realises it really is pointless.

>one glance, one touch
>and I just kept on waiting

I'd say there's a decent chance this is canon.

Do you have some citations for this?
There is no evidence I’ve seen that Disney cut any fundsor pushed the crew to rush
They were bastards in terms of advertising and air dates but don’t be a fag and make up shit to absolve faults on the part of the creators themselves because COMPANY BAD

Kek, are you from Disney? Hire good writers then, and pay them well so they won't fuck up.

Despite having stopped watching it long ago, I can say with confidence that it was Cass. She was a bitch of a cunt through and through.

To continue this debate, do people really think that Cass striking out on her own to live as a hermit is a good idea? Or a happy end? She says she's off to find her destiny but after a couple of weeks tramping out in the forest, how different is it really going to be from the rest of S3 she spent skulking about on her own?

Well this time she doesn't have Zhan Tiri constantly telling her that the only way she'll ever feel fulfilled is by crushing Rapunzel.

its never just one pity sex user. then she gets over familiar, too touchy, she thinks the sex as some divine experience not an awkward mistake, then she tries to booty call you again and when she realises that you aren't actually attracted to her she starts the tricksy shit. She calls you, she threatens suicide, she forces her way into your life and then starts to shit talk you to robert behind your back. Threatening to yell rape or other such abuses if you leave her. she buys a dog and expects you to look after it. forces it on you and expects you to love in like a surrogate child. You run but since you gave her an inch she's taken a mile and oh that mile is going. she's running with it. it's a kilometre now. You go to a different state to study but she checks up on you. turns out she has friends there who are just as stringent as she is. She's moving in with you, turns out psychology courses are available every where. she uses said skills to pin you like a rabbit. Maybe deep down you think, out of pity, that you could love her. But you can't because this is just a frozen water fall you keep slipping down. It may have started with pity sex but its pity every thing now. Pity dates, pity cuddles, pity attending her shit improve a cappella group's rehearsals. but you wanted this. soon she'll expect a pity marriage. loveless but a societal trap all the same. So don't do it. Don't give into that first wave of pity. That way Margaret could have learnt a thing or two about rejection and compassion.

boohoo why don't you just marry the woman who are deeply in love with you.

are we getting any of these, bois?

Attached: 3.gif (300x204, 1.66M)

I doubt we’ll get the art book or blu-ray or really any extra content, but we might get deleted scenes posted online along with a bit of behind the scenes things. I can’t see them making anything physical for this show, releasing it digitally is enough.

Sorry to say but Cass sucked ass as a villain. Very poor motivation, morality alignment changes on a whim, all around a mistake by the writers.
I think they wanted their own Zuko but it just didn't work. Zuko became "evil" because of his father's insane pressure, scarring and banishment. And he didn't start out as Aang friend.
Cass did start out as Rapunzel's friend (as in, from the first scene we saw her) and her motivation is just to selfish. She had a good life. Great one even. But she wanted more. More, more, more! Zuko just wanted his father's love. And he realised that was a goal that could never be accomplished because Ozai is an asshole.

Cass' arc is more like Sasuke

We really needed a solo adventure episode where we can truly see her being liberated and happy as the supreme moon protagonist.

One more present for you fags from Koreans

It was a blast.

As of season 2? Raps. 2nd episode of Season 3 onwards? Cass. In general? Writers for fucking up season 3.

I remember really liking S3 episode 1

fuck the monkey scene and the lost treasure episode

If any of you anons are still holding out for that OT3 fic I pitched a thread or two back, I'm definitely working on it, 1k words in. It will include mutual trust, bonding, and three-way sexual handholding

not pushing a lesbian relationship, that killed the show, the subreddit is so fucking tiny compared to Steven Universe/AT/etc etc, because the show had potential

The porn subreddit was only 3 months old and it's bigger than the 10 year old sfw subreddit kek

Yeah, I love Cass, but I didn’t find her believable as a villain at all. There were some episodes where she’d be acting out classic villain tropes and doing an evil laugh and it just wasn’t convincing, because it didn’t fit the character we had seen before. They pretty much ruined Cass’ character in season 3 for the sake of plot drama, it’s like the writers couldn’t figure out how else to make the last season interesting so they remembered Disney’s twist villains and said “hey let’s do that”.

Isn’t that just the abusefag spamming the sub by himself?

sounds based as fuck user. Keep up the good work.

Cass' betrayal was planned long long before the development even seriously kicked in. They just fucked up the portrayal in S3

can you give us the link of where you are going to post it now?

Yeah but there aren't that much flow of new Tangled smut anyway so 1 diligent perv can handle the uploading in the first place

That's the mystery. It was a well-planned story all along - so why couldn't they nail it?

Why can't these type of women latch onto a pathetic guy like me who would be grateful and clingy for any kind of attention. I wouldn't think about leaving her no matter how she treats me.

Finale or Freebird or Day One? Which provides better shipping material anons? I know most yurifags loved the finale, or at least the cut version, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say Day One > Freebird > Finale

Attached: Screenshot 2020-03-03 at 11.43.40.png (1258x1362, 1.62M)

The finale wasn't bad for OTP either

>Bluray
I wish ):

>lost treasure episode
It's Raps smug compilation. It's delightful episode.

I thought Cass came across as pretty selfish/attention starved from the beginning so her motivation at the end of season 2 worked for me.

Behold...

THE ULTIMATE SMUG

Attached: ezgif-5-cfdf01e9e8d3.gif (400x367, 3.3M)

>her waist isn't moving just side to side, but twisting slightly as she walks

So that crazy wrestling girl was Wreck's daughter?

Day one for me too. The gayness can't be disputed. Finale is a close second

Finale has Cass pour out her heart and get friendzoned
The other two are more “plausibly” reciprocal for both parties

Her betrayal was practically Griffith-tier (seeing as she was fine with trying to kill Rapunzel in season 3). You should not be able to come back from that.

>She had a good life. Great one even. But she wanted more. More, more, more!
You forget how she felt she was being denied things at every turn, putting aside her own happiness for her friends and finding she gets nothing (in her mind) in return for it. Her whole problem was that she wanted to prove she was someone worth noticing and loving, but repeated slip ups and manipulation changed that into her wanting people (especially raps) to know who she is and that she's better than them.

Soundtrack when?

Day One and Freebird are great, but the emotions expressed in the finale really hit me hard. It’s my favorite

Everyone’s used to it. Having a friend trying to fucking kill your ass is just tradition in Corona by this point
Even Rapunzel’s first action in the movie was nearly bashing the brains out of her future husband

OT3 is the way to be.

Attached: ot3 sleep.jpg (640x534, 56.3K)

So when are they going to remember this show exists and put season 3 on Disney+?

They will upload one episode a week as an alternate version of S3 where things went differently

Ah it could've been so good. Cass setting out to form a band of mercenaries.

I feel they where planning for Cass betrayal but they never figured out what would happen next so they end up with a good storyarc for her up to the point where she takes the stone and leaves but all went down hill after that.

I think they changed the story to be as bad as possible out of spite. I mean, no one would use "We're not so different, you and I" line seriously.

There’s absolutely no logic where that tracks
Why the fuck would they do something like that

I have no idea! They're the evil masterminds, not me.

You know seeing how things went I have the suspicion that in a early draft Ghost Loli was manipulating both of them drifting them further apart until their fight gave ger the upper hand.

Raph thinks she is trying to become a good queen and Cass thinks she is becoming the hero she always wanted to be, but both are playing into another person hands.

And then someone says that they can't have Rapunzel not being the pure protagonist that is always right so they had to scramble together a new storyline while keeping what they already have done.

Season 1 does a better job balancing the main characters.
