The first thing to know is that IDW has done several different series set in several different continuities. This thread's issue is part of what the fans call IDW2, the second main G1 continuity that IDW has done. The previous continuity, IDW1, lasted for 13 years and was made op of numerous one shots, miniseries, and ongoing series. IDW has also done a large number of G1 one-shots and miniseries that are each set in their own self-contained continuity, as well as publish stories for other sections of the Transformers brand, such as Animated, live-action movies, Prime, etc.

This Cliffjumper seems like a goofy "everybot" who nobody takes that seriously so in an odd way....I kind of just read him sounding like G1 Bumblebee, ironically enough. Deathsaurus I just imagined sounding like Shaun Connery for some reason.

On that note...there's like dozens of Seekers, why have we never had an Autobot Seeker? And I dont mean Thundercracker and the whole switching sides.
I mean a character who shows up as, and has always been, an Autobot.
I think it would be neat. Every other Seeker joins team Megatron, but then one guy says "fuck it, Optimus makes more sense"
Statistically speaking, a few would, especially in a continuity like IDW2 where we know Seekers already exist prewar
