5'2'' currently 138lbs vegetarian indian male seeking advice. I eat dairy/eggs but no animal flesh. I want to build both size and strength, hopefully simultaneously. I focused just on size, but was still fat/skinny fat. I was kinda big but looked fat and ugly with shirt off. Thanks to the quarantine and a hip impingement, I had to take a break from lifting heavy.

I used to be 160lbs, and ive almost lost my love handles and have seen a slight decrease in visceral fat. When I was 160lbs (fat + bulking for strength), these were my strength-focused PRs:
BP: 155x1
DL: 275x1
SQ: 225x2

How can I take advantage of my recent/continued weight loss to maintain strength but also look decent? Do I have days where I focus on just size and on alternative days just strength? My main goal is to keep building strength but not be a fat fuck

But to answer your question, what program were you running beforehand? Did you do compound lifts only? How much were you eating on a bulk? Try reducing your calories to where you can build muscle but aren’t putting on extra fat.

So I was doing a pretty basic 5 set 5-8 rep workout focused on the three compounds lifts, and sometimes some bicep, tricep, or shoulder isloation sets.

I was eating quite a bit but didnt count cal, but I know I never managed to get enough protein. I'd have to supplement atleast twice with a protein shake to even reach 120g.

Try shitting in a bowl and eating it

Replace all your meals with Onions and gummy worms, post results after 2 months

It’s best to focus on either bulking or cutting but if you really want to gain strength and keep a low bf% you could eat at a very small surplus. Your gains will be extremely slow but you won’t get as fat.

Or you can hop on some testosterone and then do both at the same time easily
