1060. Thinking I might upgrade to a 1080 or a 1660. Kinda wanna use that an excuse to get a new motherboard as well. I have 2 16 gig kits, but only 2 slots.

2070 super, I love playing shit like Forza Horizon 4 at 4k, with all settings maxed, and still getting 60 fps, it's beautiful. but i only actually play shit like GTA vice city and C&C generals

2070 Super. Very liberating feeling coming from an RX 480 that had awful overheating problems.

Weak bait but yes, I'm not interested in most new games since the art is all that's good about them usually. The shit that I do care to play can be run at 60-120 fps 1080p comfortably.

If you get the 2070 super you may as well jump to 1440p/144hz
It's fine if the fps drops below 60 just turn down the settings - you'll find it's mostly psychological

5yo 970, never had any problems and performance has been solid.

I'm inclined to upgrade, but I've heard that the RTX cards have myriad of technical issues, and I'm hesitating if I want to fix something that isn't broken.

the issue is this; older mobos support only GPU that have legacy bios or dual bios. most rx580 have only an UEFI bios.

if you're still running old cards and 1080p res that is some caveman shit
but, gtx1080 card isn't enough for 1440p/144hz and it sucks, and i doubt even the 2080ti can pull that kind of performance on everything you throw at it
