I actually got Deoxys because I lived right by where one of the Pokemon Rocks America was held. Still have that big beautiful bastard. But I never got Ho oh or Lugia so I never completed my national dex.

They might have sucked, but they introduced creative concepts, and had a vision; I respect that. These new movies are just corporate trash. The Prequel Trilogy sucks as movies, but they're great for video games, and TV series; there's a reason Disney is still milking the shit out of the clone wars. Sequel trilogy? It's OT 1.5, but without the charm -- rehashed concepts, and ideas, presented in the most boring manner.

there were events but it was one of the ones I had to get way after the others were Ho-oh, Lugia, Mew, Deoxys and the other two Johto starters (you could get them with the game cube game that I never had)
