This seems interesting, I've always wondered why the horror genre seems so prevalent with RPG Maker

Megami tensei is my favorite vidya series, you've convinced me.

Standstill Girl is short but pretty fun, also has one of the better OSTs I've heard in an RPG maker game

I'm using it broadly - It's more like if you take the prologue hallway sequence of SMT1 and then mixed it with Dark Souls. FUCK coin flips though.

RPGMaker is good for indie horror and porn. Nothing else.

Ah it's fine, I always enjoy that short dreamy sequence. Stumbling upon a familiar woman about to be sacrificed by a weird cult, and stopping them by calling out her name, the atmosphere hooked me instantly.

I haven't played Black Souls, but I've heard it's not bad. The porn suits the environment, for better or worse.

Not that user but it actually captures that Souls aesthetic pretty well, porn depends a lot on how much you enjoy the artstyle. Game felt pretty easy overall though to me.

I'm the kind of guy who don't play porn game to jerk off, so that's fine.
But then again, I mostly played AliceSoft games.

Not him but yeah, the way the game works, the gameplay goes south at the endgame, with any semblance of strategy being thrown off the window pretty hard as your one-character party races to not get gangraped by the enemy party before he can summon companions in-battle to have a fair fight, but until you get there, it's a good ride. The porn is... not that great though.

I literally never felt the need to summon companions in the game.

Just finished Towelket 2 and moved onto 1 now. The ending of 2 made me feel many things. I'm a bit sad knowing that there isn't anything translated after this one.

Its Wolf RPG and not RPG Maker but if you liked LiEat you might like 1bitheart. They're by the same person and 1bitheart was something that I felt a lot

Just go and replay a Dragon Quest game. 99% of RPG Maker games are badly written Dragon Quest clones or porn games.

Space Funerals 1 & 3 are worth checking out.

Even endgame common encounters (the ones from the Frog Princess' swamp iirc) can inflict 3~4 status effects on the first turn and easily stunlock you before you can act, with the opposite also being true. It's not a difficulty issue - I beaten the game on Difficulty 3 just fine and could kill anyone easily as long as RNG didn't fucked me before I could get a turn - it's just shit balance and poor design.

Just wait until you get to Warawau's wild wide. The translator has a pretty good pace so far so I don't think it'll be that much longer until 6's translation is finished.

The creation order for the series actually goes 3, 2, 1, 6, 4, Fury, 5 and then the spinoffs. If you think that's strange you haven't seen anything yet.
