This is probably the only post that really gets it. He had few friendships, none of which were particularly close, before Minecraft got big. His first wife left him the moment he made any money (which her greed did fuck her over hilariously), and his friendships he did have didn't survive him becoming more of a boss and less of a friend who gives you money. And now that he is extremely wealthy he is going to find it very difficult to form any genuine bonds. It's honestly pretty depressing, and a good reminder that money can't buy happiness.

Also a lot of people make it about his politics, to be honest they're nothing extreme for anywhere in Europe and the US and I doubt his coworkers and 'friends' before the money didn't already know them. It's likely just his lack of social skills at this point.

Problem with the industry is you need to work too much to be a game dev. It makes the industry stagnate too much. Nobody has time to play their games and/or other games.

Imagine if everyone at Bethesda played 200 hours of Gothic 2. Maybe Oblivion or Skyrim would have been way better games and not sold well solely off of marketing but off of real merits.
