EDF 2 and EDF 2017P. Make sure you install custom firmware.

i hacked mine

there's not really that much unless you know japanese, and unfortunately now the switch has better versions of ports of the vita

but if you like persona, then p4 golden and all the dancing games will be nice

Is it worth getting a used vita right now for playing old jrpgs and stuff? Or is it better just to emulate them/play on steam?

>What are some essential hidden gems?
Soul Sacrifice is the literal definition of this

Emulation is soulless. I only play games on original hardware.

Soul Sacrifice
Dungeon Traveler 2
Oboro Muramasa
I thought Oresheika was quite good as well

Lumines 3.

Bullet Girls 1&2

Nope, that shit is god awful

>Emulation is soulless
retard

Playing PS1 games with an Oled is superior to any CRT/emulated screen

Go for it.
You've got the entire PS1, PSP, and PSVita library to work with. Lots of good games.

Fuck off. Only games that are on the PSN store work. Most injections have bugs, slowdowns or don't even work at all

What charger do you guys use for your Vita? I have a 1.0 Vita and the chargers broke easily after about a month whereas I've had a good experience with 3DS chargers.

Project Diva F
Project Diva F2nd
I don't know any other Vita games

I got the oled model. Getting PS1 classics is one of the first things I’m doing. Gonna buy Parasite Eve.

Anyone have any tips on how to remove scratches on the screen? My vita has like three fairly noticable rainbow scratches and it's quite irritating.

Enjoy your future regret lmao

if you can then play on pc
get a vita if you want to play something like muramasa or p4g that cant be played on pc

Make sure to get Soul Sacrifice Delta. It's the updated version with more content and an expanded ending. Enjoy your edgy game about eternal suffering.

Vanillaware catalog
Oreshika
Gravity Rush

Wait, did the Vita version of Trails in the Sky really never get released here?

I played a lot of Vita games, but really I just see it as "The console that had Soul Sacrafice"

Wish I didn't burn out on the original, then I would've played more of Delta.

Also Ninja Gaiden Sigma is a flawless port of the PS3 game. Ignore the autists, Sigma is one step forward one step back, from Black. Black isn't "Better", all things considered.

And of course Gravity Rush was a classic, but I hear the PS4 version is better.

Wouldn't surprise me, the Vita's support in the west was pretty pathetic and Sony abandoned it entirely in favor of supporting the PS4.
The main reason to have one now is to hack it and get free games/emulate PSP stuff with Adrenaline, as it has barely any worthwhile exclusives left.

Fuck you

Dragon's Crown even though it was not an exclusive. Also Gravity Rush.

completely wrong
almost every game works with either adrenaline or retroarch, usually both
you can count the ones that have persistent issues on one hand

I’ve been playing cold steel on PS4 but I think I’ll play it on vita now? Somehow playing a game so obviously meant for portables on a 65” tv feels weird.
