>Having both of these gives you access to 30+ years of unique and unforgettable titles, both from handhelds and home consoles. >Can't say the same for Xbox.
Why is it that? Setting aside the fact they never made a handheld, Xbox has still been around for awhile, but the amount of memorable exclusives pales in comparison to even one of these.
Tell me, truthfully, honestly, what does Xbox have to show for its 20 years of existence? Not trying to flame or start a fight. Just convince me as someone who has never been interested in touching an Xbox.
Or you can just run them in an emulator and have a better experience for free.
As for Xbox "exclusives", they don't exist.
Easton Wood
The point wasn't to say PC emulation is better than running it on a hacked console, or vice versa. I've just recently hacked both of my handhelds and it got me thinking about what Xbox had to offer.
William Harris
>for free user, a PC is more expensive than the vita and 3ds combined
Carter White
The Xbox is the shooter console, halo and gears are the exclusives. They don't get as many exclusives as the other two, but the market they have is solid in the UK and americas
Bentley Kelly
I haven't really pushed my Vita's abilities. I hacked it but I never migrated content from my PSPs. I also need to install NonpDRM.
Lucas Long
I hacked my Vita TV and made it an emulator box that can also play HD Sly cooper and Wipeout 2048
Noah Miller
JTAG'd 360 is great and has a very big library of games, even emulators for older consoles and a few very good exclusives Having that console hacked was a great experience in my late teens and getting to play new releases weeks before they even hit the shelves was kino
Ethan Lee
holy based handheld gaming is the best
Robert Edwards
Uh. Aren't both of those series on PC now as well though?
Jordan Fisher
>tfw have both >tfw don't care for old games I dropped xenogears about 10hr in. I just can't into old games it seems.
Christopher Perry
I'm sure it must've been pretty enjoyable, and I'm not denying that having any hacked console gives access to a ton of enjoyable games. I'm just trying to figure out what I'd gain if I'd ever played an Xbox over something else.
Jaxon Torres
>having this gives you access to 30+ years of gaming, including the 3DS, most vita games and the xbox
Ace combat 6 with dlcs Gears of war 2-3 Chromehounds Beautiful Katamari Forza 3, 4 and horizon PGR 3 and 4 Tenchu z Shadow complex Lost odyssey The dishwasher 2 Batteblock theater Panzer dragoon Crimson skies Phantom dust That one conker remake Ninja gaiden black
I think a few of these eventually made their way into PC though, particularly the xbla ones
Colton Foster
I can easily find replacement parts for the PSP, Vita and 3DS. Can you say the same for that chinkbox?
Anthony Carter
3ds can run ds games natively now
Ian Green
>Not trying to flame or start a fight. Just convince me as someone who has never been interested in touching an Xbox.
if youve never been interested, then we cant really interest you in something now, all I can sayas someone that has been an idort troughout the ps1 to p4 days, XBox had better running games on both the xbox and 360 and online gaming was better overall. it does have some great games, just not as much as Nintendo, cause nintendo is all they have and all they need. Sony only has the 3rd parties cause most of their first party efforts were forgeatable.
>i think i have more fun jsut installing homebrew p much same for me, just updated henkaku or w/e after 3 years of not using my vita. installed pkgj, repatch, 0syscall6, and psvshell to play catherine fullbody but after doing it all i don't have any interest in playing it.
Aiden Gray
For a start, without Xbox you would not have Halo(2, 3 and 5 are all good), Gears(1-3 are good, 3 is stil lthe best cover shooter available), Forza(the only racing series still thriving).
In addition there are numerous titles that owe their existence to Xbox through publishing and/or requests made by Microsoft, it's also worth noting that certain franchises started on Xbox as well and featured quality one offs throughout the last 3 generations. Games/series like: Dead Rising, Mass Effect, Fable, Alan Wake, Titanfall, Lost Odyssey, and Blue Dragon.
Also the original Xbox is a good choice for an emulation machine, so is the 360.
Carter Kelly
>halo >gears >forza >Dead Rising, Mass Effect, Fable, Alan Wake, Titanfall, Lost Odyssey, and Blue Dragon. All shit
Ryan Lopez
Can it run ps2 competently
Ethan Scott
rofl no
Jose Scott
If they maintain the devkit mode from One on the Xbox SEX it might actually turn into the definitive emulation device
