Enjoyable

Yeah, I really don't have anything else bad to say about it. I've played it every day for at least an hour every day since it came out too, which is much more than I can say for some of the other games I've picked up recently.

The absolute worst online implementation I've ever experienced in a game.
I'm still enjoying myself though. The gameplay loop hasn't grown stale for me yet.

Very good looking and lively but ultimately they've thrown the baby out with the bathwater. The soul and real backbone of the game was always the dialogue, be it from conversations with villagers, the bulletin board, stories from Rooster and the Able Twin's past letters or messages in bottles. They moved in this direction with New Leaf and since that gained such a mass of new fans they've double downed on it. Also, I feel that the older ACs aesthetic was more strange than cutesy and kitsch.
TLDR; I'm enjoying it and I like what they've added but the spirit of the original games has been lost for good which is certainly a shame, but it happens with every series in the end.

first time playing the series and it's fun but not something you play for more than and hour or 2 a day. reminds me more of like a mobile game ie go in do your daily stuff and then quit for the day. 7/10

I'm glad I didn't buy it, after trying it for a week, I couldn't be less satisfied with it.

Seems boring as shit. Have nothing against and may find it fun. But personally I don't think it's worth full purchase price to me.
Now I fucking hate some of the faggots it produces who gush over the game.

It's interesting. I have never touched an AC game before this ever. Only did because my friend asked me to. At first I was not impressed. Mostly because the first week on the island was just time gate after time gate. I am used to a game I can pick up and play whenever I want. This game doesn't let you do that. You have to play when it needs you to. That includes specific times of day. The first week and a half or so there isn't much to do either. You basically get to play for an hour a day, then you are pretty well spent. Sometimes less than. It was an odd thing to experience. Sitting at the 2 and a half week mark now and hte game has opened up A LOT. There are finally things to do, and you can play the game for longer. You will still be required to play during certain days and times, but at least its fun now.

So far its certainly different, interesting, and fun.
