if wide poke shoot poke shoot
repeat until monster dies
long 7 will probably outdamage every other shot type but its boring as fuck

Evade Extender makes your hops reliable for dodging attacks
Artillery increases your shelling damage
Normal crit kit increases poke damage
As an option you may want to try slinger capacity since ite extends the time stake stays attached to the enemy
Item Prolonger is in the mantle together with protective polish, combined with whetfish fins + i can sharpen once and stay at purple for the next 90 seconds.
Razor Sharp can be good but it's really not necessary.

I just got buyers remorse in this game for the first time, wasted so much shit and zenny on the aquashot only to find out it apparently jobs fucking HARD to the meme rapid normal LBG, at least with how I can build for it.

Is the Xeno Neqiina+ a good LBG? I've never used ranged before, I just want a quick and painless way to delete Kush. Plus, it's able to use ammo for all elements in the rare case I want to use it for something else. What skills does ranged typically use?

the extra crit, lower raw and no deco slots doesnt seem to offer anything for my old sticky build

Oh, that makes sense then. I'm pretty new to guns in general and everyone was hyping them up to be this crazy fucking thing everyone should use, I kind of enjoy the Spread HBG for pure catharsis of removing every last cell of a monster you hate but I'm not really getting a good enough feel for guns in general yet.
The Raging Brachy one, with evvade reload and recoil suppression it just shits out damage on monster faces, is really fun, the MVs on normal 3 are a lot higher than normal 2 from what I can see, I'm getting between 80-120 followed by 60s on each of my shots
