Perfectly fair. I hadn't played 5 since it came out, so it's honestly refreshing to through Royal now.

I did not care for it. Episode 8's ending is quite easily my favorite ending to anything I've ever gone through, so anything that tried to follow it would have a rough time, by default.

A little bored of numeric ratings, just going to comment.

Revengeance is still good after all this time. MMX8 is definitely unique, and I like that key art it has (although Command Mission's art is better). Keep hearing praise for Gunslinger; now that I'm trying more FPS titles I may get around to that sooner than later.
Gen 5 still best gen and last good gen. How's Ico compared to SotC, gameplay-wise? Shadow at its core is just a boss rush with a hubworld which I like but I found myself not liking it as much as I expected.
Could be that it's been forever, but I don't see why people prefer Soul Calibur 1 to SCII. Not even based on the guests, just that SCII has so much content and better visuals. Also I never liked LBP's gameplay despite its creative suite; makes me reluctant to try Dreams.
DK'94 is absolutely incredible, nice to see it. Had a good time playing Gears trilogy co-op with a friend many years ago so I have fond memories of it even if I remember little. RCT & Medievil just great games.
Building up to Eternal by playing the classic Dooms and then probably 2016 before jumping into it.
Facesitting is patrician, Def Jam & USFIV are good fighting games, and like I said Gunslinger is on my radar.

Ico has almost the same gameplay of SotC but focused on puzzle, what make me love ico is the atmosphere of you learning and exploring an cursed castle playing It on my old ps2 is one of mto favorites experiences in any game

Yeah I thouth Eternal has a lot better demon designs and variety, more interesting levels too.

i talked with some people who said shovel knight was O K and that it didnt really go too in depth with its platforming or mechanics, and that was the big flaw

they are objectively bad. neither one has a single redeeming quality.

King of Cards easily. Most content, best level design, best story, Joustus is fantastic. Plague plays the best but shares too much content with Shovel and Specter's level design is too signposted due to how his mechanics work.
I've gotten a couple -'s for SK before that weren't trolling. I definitely get it, especially if they only played Shovel of Hope back in 2014.
It is short, but it is fast. Only issue is that melee eats your temperature gauge up. Titanfall 2 feels even better personally, love the wall-running and how Titans control (their relatively low speed compared to pilots helps accentuate their power).

the music album uses a scene from the silmarillion, which is what sil is about. sil does not have graphics. its an ASCII roguelike with crazy enemy AI and very elegant, unique combat

5/9, Why is everybody fawning over Hollow Knight? I don't get it, it was good and I enjoyed the experience but it didn't beat any of the Metroid games nor did it beat the good Igavanias like SotN or Aria and Dawn of Sorrow
