It does include all DLC from the base game. Regular price P5R lets you get the legacy pack on PSN for free which gives you all the costumes and personas to play around with from original P5.

They are to a certain extent, but all of the launch days in Japan, Asia and The West have a massive jump in users so it obviously can only be Royal on those days.

He is an extremely intelligent loner type, we are work like him but he’s very bad with people. He would probably be into anime if he was younger, but is too old to have grown up with these types of games.

I loaned him red dead redemption 2 and he was blown away with what games could be nowadays, and he enjoyed the roleplaying and exploring you could do in that game. Further, he is a huge cheapskate and his only expense is buying fried chicken on his Friday, so he devotes all his time to games I loan him and plays the shit out of them.

I tried to get him into kingdom hearts but he wouldn’t go for it, but persona 5 I managed to convince him with the promises of length and style of the game. The extreme style, fun story and characters, and intricate details and options made him love the game. He would come into work all excited about the story developments and how he would pick a new persons social link and it would be different. He just fell in love with a great game.

With persona 3 you will lose him. Those dungeons are so baaad and bland

Have you seen how expensive vitas can go for now? Almost 200$. I bought mine used for like 80$ back when Golden was out, but I still prefer to play on my tv compared to a handheld.

It counts persona 5 and Royal sales together. The sales are now at 4.2 million when they were at 3.2 million a few months ago. That means a million people bought Royal since obviously that many people wouldn’t suddenly buy base P5

I'm pretty surprised considering it's an old game going up against a bunch of highly anticipated new games, and I really haven't seen or heard anyone talking about it.

I would of course hope it does well because I love the game, I'm just a bit skeptical.

I would attribute its success to smash bros I saw so many people scratch their heads at his reveal. Tons of people had never even heard of persona until they saw the trailer for him at the game awards. So I’d say joker being smash made people curious.

The PS3 sales are 100k on the page in the OP, that doesn’t affect Royal sales at all because those were from long ago. The reason its said to be selling well is because it jumped 1 million sales after royal came out, Royal and base P5 are counted together but obviously these new sales are not from a 4 year old game that has been on sale for over a year.

Wonder what will happen once NPD next month reveals the actual sales numbers since they're not counting vanilla Persona 5 (PS3, PS4) like the Atlus pro tranny censorship PR brigade is.

Exactly what the SMT and Persona franchise need. Ports and remasters. PS4's big Persona game is a PS3 port and Switch has nothing on SMT5. But little baby junior here wants his ports and remakes, he can't get enough of old shit. Doesn't want anything new.

Because it's trite, shallow, and sold only on style and music (which admittedly is great), but the actual playing can be endlessly frustrating if you want more than a visual novel with a shallow dungeon crawling mini-game.
