JUST FINISHED THIS GAME (HONEST OPINION)

>Gameplay is good.
>Voice dialogue is extremely cringe (Indivisible bullshit).
>Characters of the game are in general are not characterized the same as the original.
>Music in general is generic bland compared to the original.
>Side missions are great (some annoying and fetch quest but not all of them).
>Typical cliche anime shounen shit.

Not a nostalgia type person but gameplay wise it's good and the game is average for me. If your a OG FF7 fan I don't recommend it unless you can handle its presence. To the newcomers, it's a new experience for you so it's your choice to buy it.

That's it.

I'm really disappointed in the soundtrack. They use the same tunes but they are so much worse and and come across a lot less impactful.

>Characters of the game are in general are not characterized the same as the original.

Which ones? All the main characters seem the same, only Jessie seems to be flanderized with her Cloud lust

in the OG she was pretty thirsty for him, but i haven't played the remake enough to compare it

Jessie was thirsty for cloud from the OG. I do agree they overdid it with her. It was like watching some high school juvenile crap.

shame she dies but she might be back due to the time Jannies.

>Voice dialogue is extremely cringe
I thought it was pretty good. It made the game feel more alive compared to the original.

Diddly Clouderino....

She definitely likes Cloud in the original but Remake Jessie literally invites Cloud back to her room to fuck, she’s more flirtatious than Aerith is

>Music in general is generic bland compared to the original.
Super hard disagree here. Most of the remixed tracks sounded way better. They have a more 'metallic' sound now. It's good.

JUST FINISHED READING OP'S TEXT (HONEST OPINION)

>don't care

Did you try playing it with the Japanese voices? I found the English translation and actors to be much shitter.

One of the things that triggered me the most about this remake is how they used the main / world map theme for various areas within Midgar (especially Sector 7).

The only time where the main theme should have played was during the very end of the game, as the characters leave Midgar. Would have made the ending exponentially more impactful.

>Which ones?
All of them.

You have a broken shit filter. It's made for numales and zoomers, it doesn't fit the setting at all.

Both she and Wedge admit that she's fucking with Cloud and she's not actually gonna fuck him, just feed him pizza. That's why she keeps saying Psyche. She does have a crush on him but the constant flirting is a cover for it, it's not real.

looking forward to playing it

>>Voice dialogue is extremely cringe (Indivisible bullshit).

silly user, you should play it with japanese voices.

isn't it episodic? so technically it isn't finished yet

How good is the Japanese version?

Not nearly as bad as I was expecting. But still as a tie in to FFVII I dont like it. As a standalone it's ok, but continuations and spin offs of VII just continue to misunderstand everything that made the original so special and unique for so many people

>Voice dialogue is extremely cringe (Indivisible bullshit).
At least it wasn’t Bravely Default tier, God that felt like a madoka magica dub

I understand and agree with you user

>>Music in general is generic bland compared to the original.

LOL and failed with your OP click bait shit

FF7 remake Soundtrack is the best we had in years....you moron

How long is it? Can you enable jp voices? How hard is hardcore?

The gameplay in general feels more like a mixture between dragon age and FF15. But that's just me.

But Octopath Traveler came out a few years ago, and Xenoblade not too long after/ Even on the Sony side you have Bloodborne

to that point, they also used a ton of different tracks that you never would have heard by this point.
are they going to be reusing those same tracks in the later entries once you actually get to golden saucer, costa del sol, etc?

The remixed tracks sure.

But the new originals, like the one where we save Jonny? Holy shit that's terrible.

This composer doesn't stand what Nobuo Uematsu did right.

Not that user but if your going to play through without side quest than its 25-30 hours flat. If you are doing a completion that it's 45-50' hours.

>JP turn on.
I believe so yes.

>How hard is hardcore?
Right now, it's fucking intense dude. Even in the regular difficulty the game will kick your ass if you don't pay attention. Despite what others say, this isn't like KH easy. Hardcore is brutal.

When the cutscene music goes from
youtube.com/watch?v=WFsLGqjlhSM

to youtube.com/watch?v=rtbkYoYGrhw

music bros what did you think of the remixed tracks in the jukebox? some of then were just weird.

can someone post an image of the time jannies? what do they look like?

If I found the demo to be pretty easy, how much of a cake walk will the full game be?

It's 25+ hours and hard mode is only for when you've finished the game.

>looking forward to this

some good, some bad
the original had a certain aesthetic which the remake unfortunately strips away, though that applies to more than just the music

Attached: remember when ff7 was a horror game.webm (604x340, 3M)

Out of curiosity, do they still have anxious heart or some variation of? Hearing that music takes me back to being a kid playing the original. It’s a pretty powerful song for me and I would expect the same for other fans of the OG

Nier was entirely better than FF7R.

It's not like the demo dude. Be prepare and don't relax yourselves. The more you continue through game the more shit cones at you.

ok now I see why people are mad, I'm glad I have no prior attachment to this game.

Most of the tracks are honestly worse than the original. I have no idea what they were thinking.

and ALL of the new tracks are generic or shit, at least from what I've heard

I DID IT, BROS

I BEAT WEDGE'S DART RECORD. FUCK YOU, FAT FUCK

>whaat whaat whaat
what the fuck

>Side missions are great

Attached: 1586492956416m.jpg (1024x720, 38.84K)

agreed.

How long did it take for you to beat it? did you go for 100%?

You will suffer 2 game overs tops. I did. Both because not having must have materia on me on bosses

I expected as much, thanks for confirming user

That quiet little 'fuck yeah' fist pump cloud does always gets me

this is about as faithful as i could probably ask for
though i agree most tracks dont sound as good as this

>Side missions are great
>Gameplay is good.
>Typical cliche anime shounen shit.
Can your shilling be even more obvious?

The dialogue is awful

I only just bought it today.
>Pay my money
>Allow enough to download for me to start.
>Play it
>Get past first reactor
>Game kicks me out saying the entire thing has to download before I can continue
>5 hours left to download and I bought it 3 hours ago, been about 2 hours since I got past first reactor.
Wow.

I miss the OG techno of FF7 but I guess this will do

the dialogue is so wooden its impressive

absolutely this

You faggots don’t know shit about music, the original was fucking awful and a downgrade for Final Fantasy soundtracks. This Remake is high quality.

Source: I’m an actual fucking professional musician and you arent

>>Gameplay is good
opinion discarded

FF7 was never good. Honestly dont know why people glob on to it
