Hey, Tom Brady misses a pass every now and then and the dude has, what, 5 or 6 super bowl rings?

Arent the misses mostly because of how shitty the handegg is shaped

>some fortnight zoomer complaining about boomberball
Jesus christ...

Games/eSports are not the same as legitimate sports. At their most basic level they're both competitions, but most sports not only require more practice but they also include physical activity. If you dont break a real sweat, feel sore, and get healthier participating in the competition, then it's not a sport. Chess, poker, and games are not sports and those who participate in them are not athletes.

That assumption ignores a lot of other factors. So the short answer would be no

Did he ever talk about this at greater length in an interview or something? Surely he doesn't actually believe that esports are as difficult as "real" sports? Right?

>B-B-BUT MUH SELF-INFLICTED RSI'S!!!

I mean he isn't wrong.
Even fortnite requires more brainpower and skill than american rugby.

>If you dont break a real sweat, feel sore, and get healthier participating in the competition, then it's not a sport. Chess, poker, and games are not sports and those who participate in them are not athletes.
t. fatty that only participates in sport by sitting in front of a tv

The NFL is fixed. This is why a lot of them die early deaths, so they don't rat anyone out. Also it would be hard to prove anyway.

The kicker misses purposely to throw a game. It's rigged. This is a business sponsored by our Banker overlords who need to keep the population in check. This is why you see billions of taxpayer dollars prioritized toward stadiums. It's no different than the bread and circuses of Rome 2000 years ago.

no for a lot of reasons but the biggest is nobody actually owns the concept of entire sports. There are different governing bodies and whatnot but nothing can go "we're stopping support for sportx so pick up and start playing sportx 2"

If chess and poker are real sports video games sure are.

>Chess, poker, and games are not sports
The etymology suggests literally the opposite. Any pastime/competition counts as a sport.

Editing?

when there are millions of people trying to go pro it doesnt matter what it is, its going to be hard to get to the top.

Mental sports vs physical sports

This but with American """""""""""""sports"""""""""""""

He was probably lucky it was a smaller one + having a sharp knife, it definitely didn't look like it put up much resistance

*mental sports vs mental and physical sports

He's right about kickers in the NFL though, you literally just kick the ball directly down the field. You're never shooting from the sidelines or anything it is a joke that kicking is even a thing in that sport.

Dragonball Z did that gag better in the 90s with the Billionaire Gyosan Money and his son named Dollar Money

he seems to think its more difficult

Kicking field goals consistently isnt fucking easy. You need some pretty god damn massive nerves of steel under high pressure situations. Not to mention everything that can go wrong in a single kick. Literally everything has to be absolutely perfect technique wise with almost zero margin for error under massive fucking stakes.

I don't like Ninja but I feel he's right.

If the ball is always in the same position, the goal is the same, your shoes are the same etc, shouldn't you always get it right after some massove practice?

You can't just "lOl bro Why arent U always hitting the shots in vidagaemmm??" Because it's almost always a different situation against an actual player that can try and dodge you.

I'm sure if chinks started playing america football they'd be hitting all the kicks.

Weightlifting?
Gymnastics?
Swimming?

how did you manage to get every point you were trying to make wrong? good job

Thats like saying why cant an olympic archer hit a bullseye every single time or why cant a darts player get a perfect score or why cant a golfer get a hole in one every time. The factors involved require a level of precision and accuracy that isnt feasible by a human to be 100 percent consistent in every time. Therefore creating competition.

Attached: new_meme_format.png (288x253, 68.14K)

The level of physical conditioning is not comparable. Video games are closer to competitive poker as a sport.

Olympic archers actually hit bullseyes a lot.
High level darts players get bullseyes a lot.

You're not meant to hit it 100% of the time, that's not what I imploed, but you should be hitting it >85% of the time.
Also darts/arrows are very light and as such, harder to aim (towards a certain point, that is). Kickers need to aim the ball in a big rectangle, bigger object means easier to aim.

Twitterposting should be bannable

Ninja is a fucking faggot

no. It's mentally more draining, but physically it isn't fucking shit compared to even motorsport, and that's less draining than actual sports.

I'd say the 12 hour days of grinding a fucking game can be absolutely brutal if you're actively working on improving, otherwise it's just a fucking video game.

Read the fucking post i just replied to retard. You are completely contradicting yourself and your original statement. No shit they aren't supposed to hit it all the time. That's what im saying and the opposite of your original point.

>playing a video game more mentally draining than grinding 6-8 hours a day in a physical sport and having to deal with actual team play while also physically exhausted and constantly Injured

Sports tactics take a million times more brain power than league

>but physically it isn't fucking shit
Spoken by a person who has literally never played a game hardcore. Try doing 10 hours of DM against good players and tell me you aren't PHYSICALLY exhausted at the end of it. Your spine feels like it's been taken out of you, baked, and put back in.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Central_nervous_system_fatigue

Haha ok now compare that to getting suplexed all day or posting up on someone or getting fucking football tackled

try turning your sens up, fucking retard.

yes, le ebin pass to fast black man on the wing in football is a hard tactic to master. try following rotations in professional rocket league. protip: their movement on the field isn't random.

>darts
>bullseyes
>a lot
t. knows fuck all about darts

Please schizo go to sleep.

I've done both, lol. I was on a top regional football team when I was in school. Esports is harder on your body unironically. There's a reason esports players burn out in 1-3 years while NFL players can play for over a decade.

Physical sports are also not shit, skill-wise, compared to esports. Deontay Wilder was the heavyweight champion for years and the dude started boxing at 24 years old and looks like a first-week amateur. youtube.com/watch?v=41XXzUQyOdQ That shit simply doesn't happen in esports. If you start playing Quake at 24: you will never, ever be champion. You won't even be in the top 1000 players, even if you work at it every day for the rest of your life. Everyone there has been playing 8+ hours a day since childhood.

Curling is considered a sport, so yes.

Do it enough times you're bound to mess up once or twice

thats great but my uncle works for nintendo and he says your wrong

it comes from all sorts of things, kicking in the NFL is hard as fuck and underrated by most people.

it all starts at the snap, where the ball is thrown backwards to the holder. if its thrown poorly or too hard the holder could fuck up rotating it to the right angle to be kicked. if thats fucked up, the kick will either most likely miss or not happen at all. if the holder fumbles it around, if he isnt perfect with his timing, the kick will be off. you only have about 2 seconds before the defensive line comes barreling towards the ball to block the kick or grab the ball. but lets say all of these things go perfect, and the ball is sitting in the prime position to be kicked.

now the kicker has to factor in the wind, the distance, the power needed combined with the accuracy required, the 250 pound niggers sprinting for his head, the pressure of being potentially the sole reason his team loses, the crowd drowning out his thoughts, losing focus for a fraction of a second, the other team potentially calling a timeout during his kick rendering it useless, etc etc.

kicking is an art and i wont stand for king zoomer's slander.

Team Sports are literally an embarrassment, at least football and basketball are.
Dude its literally a childrens game, and you're betting millions of dollars on people tossing a fucking ball around. How the fuck do people enjoy this shit?

A slight slip on wet grass, his shoes sitting just a fraction to the side, a little more shit in his colon, factors are never the fucking same, and a minor deviation gets larger the longer it travels down the line.

>kicking is an art and i wont stand for king zoomer's slander
ok pat mcafee, I agree with you but chill. normies have no idea the difference between kicking with one second of time vs half a second of time and how much more difficult it makes the whole process.

>feel sore

If I punch you in your stupid fucking mouth as you take a shit, is it a sport?

No and they never will be. Esports is its own thing why can’t its fans just accept that

And that's a good thing... Here's why:

>what the FUCK DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME YOU LITTLE SHIT!?

Attached: 1583717529298.jpg (847x1024, 72.64K)

Idk what the actual numbers are, but I'm pretty sure good kickers(I only watch Packer games but Mason Crosby seems to be a good example) do hit most of their shots, especially regular PAT shots. But there are also significantly further shots to be made.

That’s retarded. If your going to question missing in sports bring up basketball free throws not fucking football kicking

fuck you, nigger

Attached: 46BFD979-87E5-42E2-9C0F-A95FE5DFC5DD.jpg (513x513, 29.18K)

Consider the following thought process:
I don't know how long American Football has been around (it's not that important for this chain of thought anyway), but it's safe to say easily more than 4 decades.
Naturally, only the best teams and athletes succeed and reach the top with the ones not at the top striving for self-improvement until they do so. Athletes have gotten progressively better as we get closer and closer to the present with better understanding of the human body, more refined training regimes, diets and so on, yet to this day kickers do not have 100% accuracy. Are these people, the very best at their sport to which they dedicate their entire life, practicing weeks, months and years for it, just pretending when they miss?
You're making a statement on something you don't know jack shit about with a lot more self-assurance than you probably should have and make yourself look like a retard in the process

Attached: image.png (575x462, 177.59K)

kicking is harder than clicking

Attached: 1528565822634.png (809x867, 543.07K)

the difference in size of field goal uprights is negated by the 40-60 yards in between you and them, as well as the retard required to place the ball in kicking position within a half second of catching it. watch football please.
