>Step 1. Go to Zion
>Step 2. Get a fully upgraded Tommy gun, 1911, and Survivalist's Rifle
>Step 3. Murder everybody and go fucking home.

Yo is this the dogshit opinions on a dogshit board thread?

I thought this was one of the best though

Agreed, HH was trash.
The only good part was talking to Graham.
Fuck the Injun niggers.

It was fun, mantises and big ass cazadors, funny tribe people to genocide, angry burned religion man
What did you want else? pusy?

dead money was unironically worse

when a DLC strips you of your weapons and armors its like an automatic red flag that its gonna suck

dead money has a cool atmosphere and great rewards, but meh gameplay. honest hearts is just meh all around

All the DLC's in new vegas are trash. Fallout 3 did way better DLC compared to new vegas.

truth

>9/10 game
Oh boy i love when enemies just stand still while my parkinson-riddled Courier has trouble aiming at their heads with 100 points in guns

Attached: deadmoney.jpg (500x281, 47.67K)

I disliked every FO3/NV DLC.
If I'm playing an open world RPG the last thing I want is being deprived of that freedom.

But OWB and HH are still open-world. Just smaller ones separate from the main gane world.

I didn't even bother with OWB because I was so mad at HH being absolute shit.
I actually did this

Man you haven't even seen bad

Attached: 60431-1-1441332724.jpg (2000x1500, 777.83K)

Never heard of this, but after a quick glance it seems some fedora core shit.

It is a great dlc but I went in blind and specced my guy to be 99% guns. It was infuriating to the extreme.

It's comfy and has one fantastic character. Lonesome road is easily the weakest

Agreed, shame that they haven't that much content and RPG options tho.

>[Sneering Imperialist] Whatever. Joshua, put a cap in General Gobbledigook here.

OWB was amazing tho, Lonesome Road was good too albeit Ulysses really triggers some people for some reason. And DM has great atmosphere/concept/characters/skill checks but I personally couldn't stand the level design

Joshua Graham and the Survivalist's logs were the only good thing about it.

I thought honest hearts was good. I liked the setting and graham. It's like you got to see more of the post nuclear world.
But yeah, story was trash-

Disagree. OWB and LR are better than both TP and PL, MZ and OA aren't even worth mentioning and BS was a mediocre expansion that only served to let you blow up the annoying BoS cunts.

>Fallout 3 did way better DLC
You can't be serious. Anchorage and Mothership are garbage. BOS DLC is just a continuation of the game and don't feel different. Point Lookout and the Pitt were only good ones.

Unironic Fallout 3 fanbois love Zeta for some reason

OWB > LR > DM > HH

Samefag

Why are F3 fanbois incapable of civilized discussion?

Attached: uh.png (355x105, 4.66K)

Lonesome Road has the best fights in the entirety of 3 and New Vegas. Any action section of LR feels harder and more challenging than the Hoover Dam battle

>play Honest Hearts first time while drunk
>caravan gets attacked
>this mummy guy is kinda cool
>go here
>go there
>don't know what the fuck the story
>savage tribes warring or something and some daniel guy with a hat
>good job courier you can go home now

Only bad one is mothership zeta, the rest shit on new vegas dlc.

DM >Shit=OWB=HH=LR

>We're approaching reddit levels that shouldn't even be possible

Attached: 1467654323898.jpg (640x480, 64.47K)

Muh irradiated dudes copy pasted everywhere with end game weaponry and deathclaws, and shitty version of deathclaws.

>penis fingers xD
>dude lets build completely illogical giant robo scorpions even tho we never saw giant scorpions xD
>BEAR BULL BEAR BULL NOT THE HECKIN NUKERINOOS

Dead Money is great precisely because it strips you down to your bare skills and makes you scavenge for resources and survive. Even a tin can is a useful resource.

It's unironically the most fun I've had with New Vegas' endgame

The combat did feel good, it felt like you were pushing through enemy lines all on your own for days on an end, really well designed DLC
Disagree. Anchorage is a great idea but a very weak execution in typical bethesda fashion, BoS is mediocre and on par with DM and HH but without any of the cool bits of DM/HH, Pitt and PL are good, but not as good as OWB and LR in any regard.
Sounds like someone's brain got filtered.

Dead Money is the best FNV DLC. Great story, dark atmosphere, challenging gameplay.

>Sounds like someone's brain got filtered
Ah yes, a superior intellectual we have right here who cannot even refute me.

Same. Also my most memorable moment from entire NV experience was trying to carry out all the gold out of the casino while alarms were going off and shit was exploding. I felt like the bad guy from the mummy who tried to grab all the treasures

>start DLC
>Feather Niggers attack
>start blasting
>one pops up on a rock
>blast him
>"Oops, you weren't suppose to kill that one. DLC complete"

Seriously, this whole DLC was jank as fuck. Joshua was the only semi cool character, but even he couldnt save this mess. Dead Money is close second in trash, but the story and characters atleast salvage it.

I just find it funny that a fanboi of F3 picks on the writing of OWB, weren't you fags jerking off 3dog and Moira that were full on reddit?

And yea you definitely got filtered, cringy humor aside OWB is great if you can figure out what the heck is going on, which you didn't.

>best part of the dlc is a text story

>Muh irradiated dudes copy pasted everywhere with end game weaponry and deathclaws, and shitty version of deathclaws.

As opposed to what? The rest of the game?

The survivalist bits in HH are amazing tho, only really annoying bit of the DLC was how the map was designed so you'd almost never be able to get the drop on the enemy

Anyone heard anything from that The Frontier mod? Is it still vaporware or is there still a chance to play that jankfest?

Attached: 1584257640300.jpg (1200x1600, 327.73K)

Kind of off topic question here but why has bethesda turned Fallout in to vault boy/retro futurism cringefest?
Old fallouts and 3 and NV had some of that but 4 and 76 is fucking ridiculous. If you look at Fallout 1, it was much more grounded, it had modern weapons like P90 but Bethesda flipped the setting on it's fucking head to the point when a modder adds a P90 to Fallout 4 and people say it ruins their Fallout experience.

this right here.
and doubly so when the game tells you to level up before entering the area, so you stock up on good equipment only to have it all stripped away. That's some good game design right there.

Is it cool to hate New Vegas now?

It's the only part of the game i enjoyed. The beautiful open scenery is a huge contrast to the ugly orange desert. It really made me want to go there in real life.

Yes. Anything that gets (You) is cool.

Attached: you.gif (480x336, 866.9K)

It became the trademark of the series, like bottlecaps and 50s music.

Because they're fucking retarded, they can only understand profits and since they still made profit from 76 they'll keep it regurgitating similar content instead of going back and re-thinking the series. It's probably the most wasted potential of all time, they could hire some of the original writers and go to work on expanding the universe infinitely, instead they'll keep ruining it infinitely.
I doubt it, even the elitists on RPGCodex admit it's amazing.

Now it is.

Brand recognition

Have you seen Fallout Shelter? It's probably the next step for the Fallout franchise and the nail in the coffin for the series. There is an online version in China the gooks love

Also Fallout Shelter in general has 100 million users and it's the most successful and most profitable thing they have ever done. I wouldn't be surprised if they are planning to release that version of Fallout Shelter over here as well. The Fallout we grew up with has long been dead

old world blues was fucking trash, rest were ok

> just find it funny that a fanboi of F3 picks on the writing of OWB
Yes, I like non reddit and cringe humour dialogue.
>weren't you fags jerking off 3dog and Moira that were full on reddit?
How are they reddit? Moira is a quirky girl and 3 Dog a nigger, which he gets proven of. Not everyone must by a dyke like Veronica, a faggot like Gannon or a cuck like the courier (Cass).
>And yea you definitely got filtered, cringy humor aside OWB is great if you can figure out what the heck is going on, which you didn't.
Ah yes, le crazy scientists making le crazy experiments, such good and original writing.

At least the mod scene is still working hard, I wonder how long until Bethesda start hitting any mod that attempts to expand the universe with a C&D

>How are they reddit
How are they not? It's exactly because they're quirky, out of place characters that they are reddit, and yes, both 3daaaaawg and Moira were fan favourites on reddit back on release.
>Ah yes, le crazy scientists making le crazy experiments, such good and original writing.
They literally mock the overzealous science community via OWB, literally anti-reddit.

>quirky girl
>not reddit
k

Well time to redownload new vegas. Is "Viva New Vegas" a decent mod set? Really don't want to dick around getting mods set up for hours

Attached: 1571110179998.jpg (419x600, 34.06K)

Fallout 4 is unironically better than Fallout 3. Both are terrible RPGs with terrible stories and characters but Fallout 4 has better world design, better loot, better power armour and better feeling guns

>this thread
Yas Forumsreddit was never so real
