I'm in Virginia, and this website predicts over 400k hospitalizations by early April. I just... dont believe that, at all. We're currently at about 120 hospitalizations.

This suggests that Whitmer needs to act now to shut us down. Here is West Michigan, things were really, really quiet this weekend. Most people are just not going out except for work and necessities. Shelter in place would close down everything, but workers and many employers would need lots of help to stay afloat. It's a really hard choice between stopping the virus and allowing people to keep food on the table. If the Feds acted on a decent relief plan, it might be easier for governors to close down.
