Kinos where the villain lives long enough to become the hero?

Are they stupid? This is exactly the kind of reaction he wants.

The best source of energy we currently have is nuclear and solar. To maximize on solar we need to put them in not so agreeable spots

Michael Moore is based now?

If we built huge solar platforms in the ocean wouldn't it lower sea temperature?

Yes.

No. He's just bitching that people are better at making money on the green scam than he is.

Don't forget geothermal user, there are a few spots in the US that go untapped despite being able to supply a huge amount of power.

When are solar fanboys going to wake the FUCK up, take a nice whiff of the shattered microscopic pieces of glass and toxic battery acid runoff leaking into the ground, and accept that nuclear is the best, nay, the ONLY option for reliable plentiful energy going forward?

Fuck Greta, but that's a no.

You can cut global energy demand by 20% over night just by adding a tiny solar heating panel to every house.
The electric cells are a meme and will never be efficient enough
Wind turbines are also a waste of resources but great for money laundering and being political vanity projects

Never. For one thing, if the pollution is in China they can blame it on the west while simultaneously feeling good about doing something. But mainly, they don't want plentiful energy. They think consumption is bad and makes you a bad person.

There has been a prominent anti-nuclear lobby coming from both sides, there is a reason the US doesn't make many new reactors most we have are from the 70's.

The actual spots are middle upper Africa, somewhere in Russia and another place in Canada, this would give 24/7 coverage and would generate enough energy to fuel the world

When is that amorphous blob known as Michael Moore finally going to liquefy completely

You still have to move that energy around.

Never mind what all those solar panels covering the Sahara would do to the ecosystem.

It’s the scare factor - Chernobyl, Three Mile Island, Fukushima. There will always be idiots who think nuclear reactors are ticking time bombs. Then there’s the question of waste. Again, retards believing trucks are just dumping spent fuel rods behind an elementary school. Few people understand nuclear power and even fewer understand how practical and safe it is.

They're not actually that big of solar farms

Even funnier is research is going into newer reactors that would minimize the waste of power and would be far harder to weaponize killing two issues in one go.

There have been over 200 different nuclear accidents from nuclear plants to nuclear subs, loosing nukes, to just some retards playing around with a source and killing their entire family.

So hardly any downsides compared to the alternatives. Thanks.

So if we're counting "playing with a source" does that mean we can count all deaths caused by any form of oil, including cars blowing up?

Geothermal > solar

Nuclear is great tho

Thorium based reactors are insane. They use up the majority of their fuel so their waste takes up to just 150 years to become safe compared to the 10k years it takes for the waste we make now.

Well Yas Forums?

yeah that's always part of the promotion....
I had to hide in Cuba because the Bush Administration tried to shut down my new movie Sicko!

Oil is cheaper and already has an industry

how do you faggots relish this shit?
Like really, you know everything is going to die right?
I can understand hating women, and black people, and liberals, but denying climate change? that's just fucking retarded.
The only people immune to climate change are the uber-rich

gas is cheaper than oil and already has an industry.

The actual physical space taken up by the panels is small; and solar technology will advance to likely make the area taken up even less in the future.

>Oil is cheaper
I'll say.

Almost no one denies climate change.

As a Wyoming resident, I’d be okay with this as long as we get dividends comparable to the tourism money lost. It’s be a shame to lose a national landmark, but if there is really enough geothermal energy to power the entire country, it’s worth it

How is climate change going to harm me?

Storage and transmission are still issues. I'm not saying there's no place for solar, but it's not likely to be of use as anything more than a supplement any time soon.

Actually reading the article they can do this without effecting any of the natural spings, and don't even need to put them in the park itself, also doing so will decrease the chances of eruption. There seems to be no downside outside of seeing some geothermal plants when driving into the park.

You might have to bail out al gore when the sea levels rise and destroy his sea level mansion.
